Hi Damaris. Thank you for taking us on a tour of Kirkland’s latest decor. The floor lamp term I believe you’re trying to define is called a “stem”. It connects with the base (bottom).

LOL. I knew you had some Southern in you. You just said "Y'all". I really like the videos you make at Kirkland's AND you do a fantastic job of showing the items. I too, really liked the lamp with the blue striped shade. So pretty. French blue and white are my colors. Anyway, as you can tell, I really enjoy you and your videos. Please take care for now. Love Kirkland’s! But I’m biased. My niece used to be a buyer for Kirkland’s. She has since moved on to work for another company.

*Classy vs. Tacky/Themey* . Thank you for this shopping adventure, I don't have a Kirklands in my area. (probably a good thing for my wallet) You made mention of the colors in some of the "coastal" lampshades. I agree. That color way can be light and airy Cali or add in navy for a more New England vibe. My best advice would be to stay away from themes and focus on color and texture. I thought we were done with the "words", some of these pieces would be stunning but I give the wordy things a hard pass. Kirklands has some awesome decorative bowls and filler. I like a lot of the stems. I'm all about "the Look for Less", guess I'll sign up for emails because they do have some interesting decor items.

The spoon rest gave me Rae Dunn vibes. I’m not particularly a fan of that stuff but it seems to be popular.
