Why can't they just let the contractor finish the stadium and reopen it when it's completely renovated rather than reopening it half way through... Sometimes it's good to hear from other people in this case, US fans...... Thank you....

I think it mainly has to do with Barcelonas financial struggle- being at Montjuic doesn’t generate as much income as having a 60k capacity at camp nou. People have complained about getting to the Montjuic stadium in comparison to the camp nou

Yes, Montjuic is the old Olympic stadium that even Espanyol FC left. It’s on top of the “mountain” with no public transit (well, one funicular that doesn’t carry many people), no restaurants or amenities nearby. Camp Nuo is literally smack in the city, across the street from bars and restaurants with plenty of transit and even quite walkable. My wife and were forced to walk to AirBnb after a match at Sunday midnight after a match because no way were we able to catch a cab or Uber. Yet, the city was still hopping at that time and everything was still open. Oh, Barcelona.

They should take their time in full completion and open the stadium by 2025/26. Because where will we host ucl matches if uefa does not grant two home venues.

La contruccion del Camp Nou va bien ,una obra tan grande no se puede hacer dos días ,va bastante adelantada , amigo en cuestión de 5 meses se verá más adelantado ,Saludos Indonesia de España una culé de corazón

I think until the camp Nou is completed they should stick to the Olympic stadium instead of rushing back before it's ready

Not a cats chance in hell to get that place open this year... The best option is to reopen fully and safely in the summer of 2025 in time for the 25/26 season. Authorities won't grant permissions with unsafe areas
