It's a finisher you can get by doing it on a demon swordsman in the base game.

I can't lie, I love the non-stop finishers cos IRL that's how quickly Spidey would fight

So miles finishing moves have been added along with enemie type specific finishing moves e.g whip type, shield type enemy etc. I like the short dodge slide on peter.

I love how certain takedowns are close up and others are far away. Provides a nice feeling of more variety. Insomniac should explore that. Tbh I believe the reason they haven't show MSM 2 is because theyre waiting to see what the modding community does🤔🤷‍♂️. I mean games ARE worked on till they are ready to be released so it could be possible

Tobey is brutal in physical combat and generally uses his raw strength more than anything so these totally fit

The more videos like this the more likely Sony will give us spidey games like this. Spider-man is a character that shouldn't hold his strength. At serious times he shoukd go all out.

Each finisher would be an MK fatality and as cool as that could be, it's not Spider-Man. Maybe in a Venom game tho. Or even a Kaine game, where one of his finishers could be where he rips dude's face off using the sticky fingers like in the comics

Ironically most of his more brutal takedowns are from Miles’s move-set. For someone trained by Peter it’s pretty crazy how much he fights like his Uncle. I hope they build on that, Miles’s propensity for brutality was a hot topic in the comics that they failed to capitalize on.

This is absolutely stunning! Although some animations are Miles Morales, there are a few here I haven't seen before. Makes me wonder if Insomniac couldn't use all these animations because of performance issues on the base PS4? Spider-Man 2 will be exclusive to PS5 which probably means they will not reuse assets from the PS4. More than likely we will get an updated combat system. This footage is really awesome to see though. It definitely benefits in having a PC in order to do mods.

Lmao what does that mean? These are just the finisher animations, somenof them used eithout cinematic scene. Modders can't just create a new combat system. And the one that was in this game is very good and satisfying. I also don't see the problem with gadgets.

@@blackmail2459 the fact that you find the fact that a superhero uses gadgets with nowhere to store them less convincing than the fact that he can also crawl the walls and use super sense to avoid getting hit by a bullet, is somthing i find incredibly hialrious. To put everything aside those gadgets are a lot of fun and it's insomniac's gesture, because it's kind of reference and homage to ratchet and clank games.

I want to see this kind of thing for other heroes. Like this game should have a larger roster than it does and it's driving me up the walls that it isn't multiple players.. drop in drip out. Marvels Spiderman featuring the avengers x men etc would really be something marvelous.. also.. can the maps be more skyrim sized.. the rails are so tight with superhero games. Also where is the full game of the matrix demo that came out???
