700.00 for a 6 channel radio, are you kidding me? I’ll stick my DX5 Pro, RadioLink RC8X and RadioMaster MT12.

What an expensive POS!!! We already have a phone in our pocket to check our email...why do we need to pay for that feature on an RC transmitter? That money should have been put towards waterproofing and on other features that people actually want.

Does your phone control your race rigs? Does it map the channels on your crawlers? If so, you should post us all a link so we can all have that amazing phone. It's ok tho, this Tx isn't for everyone. Experts like you won't need this for their high end traxxas race rustlers right? You have your high-end prepaid android phone.

And every reviewer gets one. Same day, too. Appreciate the progression in our Hobbys & your enthusiasm but,this Economy negates the need or wants.

Shrinkflation it been nicer if it was 500 , I wonder how they figure out profit margins , at 500 even 600 you’re going to sell substantially more . At 700 only reason I wouldn’t get the futaba is RTRS and already having the receivers of course the android is cool . But I tell you RC is back to being expensive , than the better value is with kits , the should’ve brought under 700 at all cost imo even 689

Idk if my transmitter needs gmail... I rc to get away from the world lol. It's real nice, but maybe over the top haha.

Ill stick with the DX5 Rugged lol. I straight up cant afford a radio this expensive, and if I could, I would buy Futaba.

I honestly don’t get why these remotes are so pricey .

it's absolutely disheartening to see so many channels go out of their not to state the obvious issues with the pricing on this thing. Just reading the comments there's very clearly a disconnect with what the reviewers are saying and what people actually think of it in terms of value. It unfortunately says a lot about the integrity of some of the channels in this community.

They copied Radiomasters playbook and jacked the price x5, and it will still only run Spektrum stuff

Love all the comments. Yeah this is a miss! Obviously only for race buggies…. But someone who has a Losi 8ight 2.0 buggy… all their parts are always out of stock. So this is just a bs cash grab.

MOST reviewers have to show it & very few are allowed to leave neutral-bad review feedback. After a few bad reviews, their 'sponsorship privileges' are revoked. I've seen this happen with tail heavy.

Maybe it won’t sell good and they’ll drop price 500 I take one . 700 it’s like I should’ve had 7px all along people forget marketing is all about the people after us , it’s not about us people who already set in there ways . This is what the newbies will have for next 10 years if we like it or not and the next one you have your ring cameras auto start for car and garage opener 😂

I love my 10PX I'm still learning how to use it been a Futaba guy for years and I thought well why not try out the latest radio from them very happy with it. Spektrum stuff has always felt cheaply made and I'll never forgive them for what they did to JR Propo. It's too bad JR isn't what it used to be. I loved my JR radios as well.

Wow looks like Spektrum stepped up their game big time. I have an RC8X but it's starting glitch and act up so i might look into a Spektrum either this iXSR or a DX6C next year as i have started to learn that a high quality radio is more reliable and works better. Before i bought the Radiolink i looked at a used DX6R but was unaware this was coming up or another radio like the DX6R.

Looks nice and the screen is amazing and very responsive. Looks like it has great features when using with Spektrum gear. But for the price I prefer the Radiolink RC8X with FPV. Your videos are the best and you are always are very enthused about all the products and everything you do. Keep it up bro! I miss living there and running woth you guys!

Why is it nobody is opening up the Android settings and checking out the Android system on this radio? To me, that's the most important thing to look at. What version of Android is on this radio?

Personally, this looks just like the old one they made! The OS and all. Even the icons and colour! I think they are trying to get a return on the cost of making this UI and OS from the OG! If they sell enough of these, they can close this file with the corporate account trying to get it back into the black. Looks cool. I’m sure it is. But I no need for an android system on my remote! To each their own.

The software and UI is exactly the same as the garbage dx6r besides the launch control. Spektrum could never figure out the android stuff and eventually just stopped supporting it. Deja Vu. It's very obvious when a reviewer is given a sample of this radio.

So what’s different from the DX6R

I just got DX3 . I dont like the dx6

Looks like they are playing catch-up. There is nothing new here to see. If you are savvy you can save big bucks by buying a 130.00 Radiomaster MT12. If you like shiny touch screens at the start screen buy into this this is for you! Great Hype building up to release but this is sub-par

I really like it. I think it'd be a great radio. So is my Dumbo. The extra stuff would be cool but if i don't like a stock radio i stick a dumbo receiver in and call it a day. I'm just not a good enough driver to buy a $700 radio system. I've got complete rigs that didn't cost that much, lol.

Rear steer on a knob that doesn't self center is a horrible idea. Think about it. Ever try steering anything that doesn't self center? Ever try a racing game using a mouse to steer? SUCKS!!

BUY A RADIOLINK RC4GS FOR $64. DO NOT! DO NOT! BUY THIS!!! You could build a vrd or buy a losi baja rey 2.0 instead. You don't need to get email's on your rc radio! Unless you like interuptions while you drive.

Great review Joe. I was going to upgrade to a DX6 Rugged for my outside cars/trucks/cycle. Probably sell my Rugged and get this. I love my DX5 Pro too. Maybe for my birthday.

Don't buy this radio!!! It is only worth $350-$450. Buy a futaba radio if you want to spend $700 dollars on a radio. I suggest a radiolink rc4gs($64) or rc6gs or a rc8x. The receivers for these radios are cheap and you can put 30 rc's on a rc4gs. If you get a rc4gs you could also get a losi baja Rey 2.0, or build a vrd or a Phoenix

I’m rough on my radios because I can be , tactic radio one ☝️ of my favorite 🤩 I’ve left it out in the rain ect . Exo “ love for flysky gt5 and it’s cool I appreciate it being easy to set up even though keep forgetting it has a gyro I never used . The receivers are dirt cheap , the performance . I just don’t like the feel the spring tension a little light .

Get an MT 12 Radio Master is BETTER

This is why the hobby is dying and so limited, they are put of touch with the economy and it people who support them. $700 for trash, this coming from spektrum dx6r owner which i still use and going to a different radio
