Hi ***** , Young Beretta was on Fire with that thing by the end of the video..... I loved the groups one after another, after another at the end, I just could not follow that...... without pulling my Glock 30 45ACP and just going to work on that Target!!!!.....LOL. Beretta Sr.

Nice to see another leftie shoot. I use a thumb over thumb across the backstrap to help w/controlling the heavy recoil.

Check out GunBroker sometime. The Scandium j frames go for about 500 to 600 used on there.

Hi LS6WS6 , Thank-you Sir, More good news, my Dan Wesson 617 357Mag is on its way back from the Dan Wesson Gunsmiths.... They say it is running 100% with a trigger tune..... I cant wait. :} Beretta Sr.

nice vid guyz! i love that MP340. I gotta add it to my M&P line. I have just fell in love with tha Smith&Wesson M&P series. Full size M&P9 and my favorite M&P 9c. It looks like its a little tuff working with 5 rounds only. haha

Hi ANTHONY GARCIA , I am with you on the M&P Full Size and the M&P compact 9mm, but I will leave the M&P Revolver to Young Beretta.... It was not easy to shoot well for me at all. Beretta Sr.

Recently picked up one of these bad little suckers... niceeeeeee!!! ... lowered the trigger pull weight by 3 pounds with an Apex Tactical Spring kit... around 9 pounds now.

Id like to see smith and wesson putting the front site on more J Frames

Thank you very much for the interesting presentation! I know that it would be expensive, but I hope you can one day test the Buffalo Bore Outdoorsman or similar hot 3.57 rounds to test how high the risk of crimp jump is and how fast you can use the revolver after the crimp jump.

Excellent shooting friends. Love the little J frame myself.

Hi glockerbob , Hope your Spring is going well. I could not follow Young Beretta on that. He just completely out shot me with that J-Frame. It is not easy to shoot a group even close to what he shoot it the last 3 times. I was like OK, lets move on to something else..... I know when I just got my butt kicked. LOL....... Beretta Sr.

I have the 340 also it felt I little tight at first a good friend told me take the side cover of just 3 screws and oil it they come dry from s&w , after that shoot much smoother

357mag will have a different point of impact and they will eject better won’t get hung up. I have the 340sc it says 125 grain min. The recoil can make the bullets walk out of the case

Great shooting guys!!! Quite a handfull is it!!! I Watch your vids because iE: Beretta Sr is willing to honestly try on camera, gloves that MAY not be so good for his "appearance " if you don't hit every time or "show off" (as you can being an awesome shot the both of you) but I respect the fact you don't let your massive ego's get in the way of making a Real Informative video like so may other's do!!! Thanks for your honest and awesome channel!!!

+jpb1231000 PS: I stopped and commented on SR's experiment, which I did respect as I said But DANG Jr,, That's some shootin'!!! I am seriously debating between several CC options and I'm starting to like what versatility a 38/357 wheel has to offer! What a wide array of power and size options!!!

+jpb1231000 The 2 small revolvers we like the best are, 1. Smith and Wesson M&P 340 for $749 Expensive but Excellent. 2. Ruger LCR 357 or 38+P models for $359 Great Buy on a very good revolver. We have several videos on both of these.... we are picky about a very good trigger and you will find this on both of these Revolvers. Just trying to help. Beretta Sr.

jpb1231000 --- I'm not the best shot either. I don't get bragable groups at the range. I just enjoy working my guns & if I hit then good & if I miss it's still good practice, I aim for center mass and practice for sd shooting, as a hobby, it's expensive and I'm not rich, I just wanna enjoy myself. So I prefer these hard kicking hand cannons.

"Quite the powerful little package"... yeah I get that a lot. :) But seriously, Y.B. is becoming quite the marksman. Those little guns are not easy to shoot groups with.

Have you ever put 148 gr LWC through it? If so, what brands? How does it feel with those?

WHY Do you pull the trigger more than 5 times on a 5 shot piston and more than 6 on the 686 SSR? Hickok45 does it too.

We do this on purpose as just a dry fire practice, I am sure that is why HK45 does it to. Remember these are all "New" guns to us and we are trying to get used to the trigger pulls on them. we are shooting live video while we are giving our initial impressions, so it is a little cheating to learn the triggers by all of us. Nice gun for carry but I still would prefer my Ruger SP 101 in 357. Of course the Ruger is almost 12 ounces heavier so handling the recoil is easier. Nice video, always enjoy them!

awesome guys! Some good shootin there! That is acceptable "self defense" hits. Happy to see you got the 340M&P. As you know I have the 340PD and its even lighter than the M&P and yes you can feel it...especially with 357mag (OUCH). But I don't see the point in using 357mag in a j-frame. Enjoyed the vid guys! ***PS- Jr. can really shoot that j-frame!!!!!

Hi ditto1958 , The truth of the mater is my father in law fell in love with the LCR 357, and his wife wanted to get one for him, but they are on a budget, anyway, we worked it out and he received our very lightly used, we know it works, LCR 357, and he just loves it. The Ruger LCR is still my favorite small revolver by a huge margin and I will be buying a new one this Summer. :} Young Beretta has this Smith, I want the Ruger LCR 357 for myself. This is the first time we went over what happened to the LCR, We miss it already. :} Beretta Sr.

Hi PoorBoyBallistics , The 38 +P is a little Hot in it, so I do not know..... My Dan Wesson will be back on Thursday or Friday so I am sure we will have another Revolver Day in May or June 2015..... Beretta Sr.
