I love how the deck main monsters Raye and Rose use different suits as their weapons with the Spells Cards as their support tools.

There was a really cool cartoon I used to watch on Cartoon Network back in the 90s, called "The Centurions". About three guys that get deployed from their base in skin-tight suits, and then suit-based weaponry that are separately deployed through teleportation, which then attach themselves to the heroes' base weaponless suit. Basically how the "Engage!" Spell Card works, and what the image on it seems to imply. Also, thematically in Sky Strikers, the different Sky Striker Ace Link Monsters are not different monsters being summoned, but rather, the suit weaponry being changed/traded for one another. This archetype seems to be heavily inspired by "The Centurions", and it very much stays true to theme with its gameplay designs and mechanics, too, which are what I really love about Sky Strikers.

Maybe also inspired by the action figures of that era (like the Action Man toys, the Batman figures etc.), which were thematically similar, with the figures having a lot of equippable weapons and accessories.

@@justamuart strikers eat 1 duster and they bite the dust, literally every other deck u can make another kazillion negates after dark ruler + raigeki + sugma combo, the deck needs insane resource control while learning the choke point of any deck in existence

I like the whole gimmick of Raye and Rose changing into different suits of armor and using an expansive arsenal of tools to take on any threat but DANG if I don't hate this annoying ass deck

How you going to show us the decklist then first duel open up droll which is not in the list lol

what makes sky strikers strong/meta is the amount of hand traps you can play with them lol

Thanks to the OTK line now, if you run enough board breakers, the only hand trap you actually need is Maxx "C"(Nibiru would be nice if it didn't clog up the MMZ), and EVERYONE plays that. I actually DON'T like playing more than the Veilers/Drolls I can use for the Selene Link climb since more hand traps means less spells in grave, and I actually dropped Selene while keeping Unicorn in a lot of my builds since I found myself climbing to Underworld Goddess more often than Accesscode. They can help out with setting up Pot of Avarice, but you almost never want to see that on your first turn. I threw Reasoning into a gimmicky Spellbook variant I've been messing around with, if I hit Veiler or Droll there I can at least Link them off into Artemis to keep the MMZ empty, so that's a fun alternative to Grass for setting up the graveyard. That's one of the few builds where you DON'T want to run Maxx"C" or Ash at all, which arguably makes it worse unfortunately.

Actually, sky striker is really skill ceiling Well not for use this deck, but you use this deck when you know what opponent deck do and know what perfect sky striker card you use at right timing But overall glad the OTK enabler is here to make sky striker game less grindy

Can't tell you for how long I had listen Elysium realm 16th floor theme, man, what a way to entice me to that box (Circular is reason enough, low gems thou) Modules first effect really came handy on last match, what a grindfest that was... but why opponent didn't use Fortress effect to destroy during your battle phase? Cool video, I will not be surprised if something like Virtual world, P.U.N.K. or Metalfoes + "Duke" Yul are played considering your new player nick

For Striker, to out such cards they need 1 of 4 cards. H.A.M.P. Ningirsu Access Code Talkee Underworld Goddess Hamp and ningirsu are probably the easiest to use followed by access code. Goddess feels like it rarely comes up so I wouldn't suggest running it

Oh and there's actually one more card that is a Striker card. Sadly it sucks at it only removes cards in the extra monster zone. Counters Avramax tho. It's called Vector Blast

Accesscode into Linkage works as a true OTK as long as you can pick it up again with a Kagari(or have the attack bonus and 2 spells in grave). If you can get to the ATK bonus by dumping a Light and Dark Ace(Roze is the only Light but the Link 2s are Darks) even a 3k monster like Underworld Goddess, Avramax or AA Zeus can work. If you've already done damage there are situations where you can close out games after clearing the board with something like Knightmare Unicorn even.
