Only downside is ultra high cost of service after free services get over. All friends owning Skodas are spending lakhs each year just for maintenance.

Service cost is not to high.... I agree the labour they charge is bit high than other brands... But the quality of parts and work is the best.....

@@niravsolanki1156 after market service centres mai 1/3rd price mai hoti hai , my vento tdi is serviced for 3500 and i had a 2005 octavia diesel whose service cost is 4000-4500 max

India me kaash log budget chhod k quality dekh k gaadi lete to Skoda jaisi gaadiya aur bikti. Fir hamari desi companies v apna standard badha kar better cars deti hame. But kya karein.......😣😣😣😣😣

I have a 2013 VENTO HIGHLINE petrol having the same features which are shown in this one and I want to say I am super happy with the car. Of course its service cost is little on the higher side but the way it drives and the way it makes you feel is unmatchable. After driving it over 95,000 km I can still pull out 17-18 kmpl on highway and 14-15 kmpl in the city. German cars are made keeping in mind the comfort and safety. You wont find anything flashy or OTT. Everything is subtle and sober. It makes you feel safe and happy and thats what you will look for when you go out with your family.

@@amberdwivedi7375 I guess 9-11 kmpl in bumper to bumper traffic seems alright to me. We can't expect more than this when you're moving slow and applying breaks and using clutch more often than driving smoothly on an empty road. The more you stress the engine the less it will perform economical.

I have 2nd hand skoda rapid 1.6 2014 AT Petrol and I love it. On highway I get around 17-18 milage with 100 kmh speed

@@shubham_M7777 in City i get 13-14 n Highway around 20-21 with AC. I get my car serviced from a local Renowned workshop.... So i spend 6-7k for General service... Every 12-15k Kms......

Definitely sir german standard of car making is on next level. They just keep those fancy features out of the car(air purifier and all that stuff) and focus on practical features which make passengers feel easy.

Own a 2012 Red Skoda Rapid diesel manual 1.6 lts. Mint condition. Absolutely love it ❤️.

Hope that vw and skoda sure come to the first in sales chart soon !!!!

Ravi bhai as we know , Rapid and Vento are same cars. Agar money concern na ho toh vento ek jyada better option nhi hai ? From the view : atleast skoda se jyada road presence hai , service centres hain , touch points hain. Skoda ka showroom ya service centre hi aas paas hona VW se bhi rare hai , chahe apki warranty fir kitni bhi ho. What is your view ?

@@vineethv7896 I bought it last month; due to lockdown I was not able to test the mileage.. but I just finished one trip which included 200 KM hill(max speed 40 kmh) and 300 KM plane (with AC throughout)I'm getting 15-16 KMPL...

i m driving Polo 1.0 TSI for last 10 months...it is giving a mileage of 12-15 kmpl in city and 18-22 kmpl on highway... nothing exaggerated...in fact it sometimes exceeds even that figure of 22 kmpl on the highway...TSI is indeed a very refined engine even though it is a 3-cylinder engine...

I also brought last month rapid rider plus...it's fun to drive..ek baar apne chalayi to dusari gadi ko hath bhi nahi lagaoge...I did 800km continuous driving with only one break for lunch and didn't feel tired..tank to tank mailege 17+ on High way I got.Rapid sahi main rapid hai..

Sir test drove Rapid yesterday but ye Kuch observation Hain Jo dealer or sales Wala mujhe answer nahi Kar paya : 1. During the drive, the Engine was stopping when I out 2nd gear while reducing it due to speed breakers or potholes. Kya ye issue hai rapid ke sath. 2. Agar point 1 issue hai toh hills pe drive karte time or hills pe stand still start karte time issue hoga kya. 3. During U turns when steering is turned full, ek awkward sound Tak tak ka experience Kiya, is that common or is that an issue.

No doubt skoda rapid is a nice car.. But it needs design refresh n extended wheelbase for rear legroom. Its not much to ask.

Muje City main Rapid 13 ki average deh rahi hai. And highway par 17 ki average. Aur Highway par main bohot rough chalata hu.

even though both are same I like Rapid more , over Vento

Everyone should have this mindset same as the owner where Build Quality is the top priority not like other people who choose poor build quality and fancy features over Safety! They value their safety at last ! 🤷‍♂️
