Skoda Kodiaq Summary
Latest Update: The 2023 Skoda Kodiaq has been relaunched in India with a BS6 phase 2 compliant engine.
Price: New prices for the Kodiaq range from Rs 37.99 lakh to Rs 41.39 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
Variants: The Kodiaq is offered in three variants: Style, Sportline, and Laurin & Klement.
Seating Capacity: Skoda’s flagship SUV can seat up to seven people.
Boot Space: The SUV has a boot capacity of 270 litres.
Engine and Transmission: It makes use of a 2-litre turbo-petrol engine (190PS/320Nm). Power is delivered to all four wheels using a 7-speed DCT (dual-clutch automatic).
Features: The Kodiaq is decked up with amenities such as an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 10.2-inch digital driver’s display (8-inch on the style variant) and ventilated and heated front seats with massage function. The SUV also gets an updated 12-speaker sound system, and 10-colour ambient lighting, three-zone climate control, a panoramic sunroof, and cruise control.
Safety: In terms of passenger safety, it gets nine airbags (standard), electronic stability control (ESC), 360-degree camera, hill hold and hill descent control and tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS).
Rivals: The Skoda Kodiaq squares off against the MG Gloster, Toyota Fortuner and Jeep Meridian.
