NEW SKATES! Chris Farmer USD Sway Review (Roll Minnesota)

NEW SKATES! CHRIS FARMER USD SWAY REVIEW!
Razor SL skates have been my personal favorite inline skates for years, but recently a friend gave me some new skates to try out and review for the channel. In this episode, we review the new Chris Farmer USD Sway skates at the Roll Minnesota Headquarters. This setup includes the Chris Farmer USD Sway boot, Kizer Slimeline 2 frames, and Jeff Dalnas Eulogy wheels.
Let me know what you think of the new USD Sway skates and if you have any skates or hardware you'd like be to review, feel free to contact me!
Thanks for watching Roll Minnesota,
Butch Lehman

They're my current skates right after the Aeons and i've fallen in love with them. The 45 degree strap comes out after hard use. I replaces the crown liner with an intuition. The intuitions go so well with these. Shall be buying the team skates when they're out.

I took the 45 strap out immediately because it doesn't do anything. It was good to see that the new team skate ditched the 45 strap! not super crazy about the complete lack of color.

Hey Butch - how did you make the kinked rail out of PVC visible at 0.57. I've made rail extensions before to join two straight rails but not the kink!

  • @RollMinnesota

The seams are actually further down the rail (not the kink). We cut a small slit in the middle of one 10' PVC pipe and bent it at the kink. That left 3 feet of box on each end that still needed PVC, which we were able to cut and attach from a second 10' pipe.. It's a lot easier to align the seams on the flat part than the kink.

for a new guy trying top souls and top anything on a quarter, how to you fall if you slip? I feel like im gonna eat it if I don't lock in.

Bend your knees and try to get as low as possible with your body. If you don't lock, try to slip over the ledge or quarter and try to sit down on it. The trick is only safe for people because they managed to bail out perfectly out of it.

Some great all-around and affordable skates include Razor SL, Them 909's, and USD Sways. Foot size and riding style should factor into your decision, but these are all pretty popular skates.
