I'm from India. Was looking to buy Sigma 24-70mm Mark 1 but when I saw Mark 2 is released, I ordered for Mark 2 - Expecting it to get by last week of May.

@VishwasRavindran92. The product isn't available in India as on date. However heard that it will cost 94k only as opposed to Mark1 which was selling at 89k (before the news of Mark2 release came). I pre-ordered by paying a lumpsum advance.
Panasonic just released an S9..... I think it's about time you revised the FP! PLEASE!!!!
Maybe I missed this but will Sigma make this lens for a Canon mirrorless camera? I have the R6 and will purchase R5 markll when it comes out. I have 3 Sigma lenses and the 24-70 markll would be my next purchase. Thanks... btw, great video!

Sigma for the love of god please convince Sony to allow a setting to make the focus linear for your lenses.
I love Sigma but this lens doesn't wow me. I guess because I have the first version of this lens and I knew they would update it with the aperture dial (wish it was mechanical) I never use them. So besides a new motor and some better coatings, I think I still have a most excellent lens that still has 6 years on the warranty. Now the first DG DN version compared to the DSLR version was game changing.

@@booshipvideo5513 pretty much. I also originally had the DSLR Sigma 24-70 f2.8 ART as well and the differences besides size were not a ton optically.
Absolutely gutted I just bought the same lens mk 1 last week.... Anyway I can swap for new model
