Congratulations on the new building. Love your plan. Been following you for at least a couple years. We met you two years ago in Q, we had the Safari Trek with the big solar and radiant heat floor. You probably don’t remember I’ve been custom bending exhaust since 1971. Mechanic and welder all my life. We’re heading out west from Vermont the end of the week, stopping in Elkhart then proceeding west. We could lend a couple hands for a while. We’re are self contained and sufficient for at least a couple weeks before we need water and a dump. My wife and I are real handy and have a shitload of tools. If you want some help let us know.

I’d fly out and donate time to the vision. Mainly because I’ve had my own bus and have known that vision. I do believe your an expert in fabrication and the dream of bus life. The space you have acquired looks like it will serve you well for what your trying to do, but definitely looks like you'll have your hands full for quite a while to come. I've been working building cabinets for the past 5 years but I've been wanting to set it aside for a little while to learn some other things. I have my own little short bus that I've been working on in the little amount of spare time I have for a little over a year, but I've just been doing it alone. Congrats on the building(s)- great potential. I did the same thing, bought a 100-year-old building on a town square in a small town, gutted it, and made a great art and photo studio out of it. Some of the most rewarding work I've ever done- worked out really well financially too. I hope that you have a great experience. Watch out for zoning/inspections

Hey Wes so I built a roof deck very similar to the one you built for Chris but I am still a little confused on how I’m going to anchor my pieces of angle iron to the ribs of the bus did you just screw it directly to the rib did you bolt it did you go to the center of the rib through both sides or did you screw through the narrow side of the ribs information would be greatly appreciated I’m pretty much to the point of getting it on top of the bus and anchoring it PS by the way I also built a 4 foot bumper extension like You did for my HVAC, generator ,and motorcycle
