I believe bunkers snap to 90 degrees because bulk material heaps have a square footprint. So, if the bunker is at any other angle, the heaps will cut through the side of bunker.

That you are correct on I tried to edit the xml file so I could place it anyway and it caused what you said it cut through the bunker 😅

Watching you for almost an hour to get just the basic buildings, imagine how much time the moders have to put in to create an entire map, lots of work and imagination. Looking forward to the next episode to see how far you get.

its looking good, but still feel you should put road from back the hey loft on top level down to bunkers and take hard edge off slope an easy fix is moving the bunkers and silo back a tad more , at the top if slightly bigger would be a cool place for farm house over looking the farm. its looking good so far, a track and bushes/ grass / hedges / fences and even litter make it look like a working farm on some the banks / edges / corners to fill in and odd tree, so many options with so many levels, sure like the idea, doing the fine touches feel it look pretty cool, only thing what bugs me a little the back hey loft the bank but a road out back could solve that, bit short cut to top too or as a drive loop so less turning around at top do a lap, just a thought, so far looking good :)

Two of my favorite series by you are the FS19 Dabnica and No Mans Land. Castelnaud looks amazing; looking forward to this.

This is my favorite map!!! I am so excited to see my favorite content creator take on this map; a match made in heaven!! For the road textures, I like a combination of the gravel with patches of different gravel textures to add some wear and tear, with some patches of the grass/gravel texture on the edges to transition to grass and some patches of that texture in the middle of the track and yard with some grass growing to really show that it is an older farm with some wear and tear.

This is an amazing start and I can't wait to see how it goes! You've inspired me to build a farm like this starting right out, I've never done that before (in my near 600 hours of FS22). Time to start a new farm!

I bloody love Castelnaud! Been playing on it pretty much since it was released. Even am using some of the MA7 buildings as well. Brilliant mate, can't wait for more of this series!

Loving this, I started on Castelnaud then switched to Court Farm and now Italia Emilia. Will definitely go back with more inspiration! Can't wait for next episodes.

Looking forward to this scroft. Was really great watching you build the farm area. Unfortunately I’m Absolutely useless with the landscaping tool and 9 times out of 10 I rage quit lol. I would probably go with the gravel texture for the roads.

Pretty cool seeing your thought process on setting up the farm.

Speed signs are km/h. You have to change your settings! 😉

Hi Scroft. Castle and is a legit place. Just south of the map, like 1/2 mile, is a great campsite and I’ve stayed there a couple of times. The village, castle and environment are exactly as portrayed. You get to go into the shops in the village in real life. I’ve bought baguettes in the boulangerie in the map.

This is how I typically play whatever map I’m on. Taking a few million to build a farm, and equipment and then once it’s complete I farm it as the build was intended. Loving it so far 🤙🏼

It's such a good way to play. I'm hoping to get some inspiration from everyone's farm builds

that beef stock building. i place it with nav mesh visible so i know where the grazing area is to fence off 🚜🤙

Great start to the new series Scroft. With the texturing for the ground I tend to layer my texture to create a more realistic effect, it's taken a while to master but I think it looks really good. I like a map maker that adds in more textures than the standard Giants ones

you can edit the rotation in the xml files.. i hate that 45 degree snapping 🙄 nice build tho 🚜🤙

Best map for FS. I really love it.

There's a line in the XML for bunkers that says to rotate bunkers on 90 degree increments. It's up to the author to set it up to be free rotating... but since most of those bunkers are just reusing basegame bunker xml code - the "standard" is to rotate bunkers on 90. bummer, but an easy change if you want one free-rotating. Great build video!

I visited it few years ago, i walked the path you took from the Castel to bridge, that’s pretty close to the reality, I didn’t see the medieval weapons that can been seen visiting the Castel though.

I was waiting for Clarkson, Hammond and May to be coming up towards the castle in supercars as you were going down that road then mate 😄

You can change any bunker silo rotation or rotation of any placeable by editing the XML file to ensure they are freely rotatable to any angle. Even base game ones.

looking good where can i find te map

There's a mod that allows you to rotate the bunker silos 360 degrees like the rest of the buildings

you can edit the xml on bunker silos so they youy can place at any angle

Seeing thr castle they should make a map where the castle is the farm house
