In March 2019, we rented this brand new high-efficiency SAMSUNG washer & dryer set (production date: 02/17/2020) We’ve used it A LOT over the past year. It’s been really great! We have no complaints or issues whatsoever. This set can wash & dry a king-sized quilt with ease. As a former Lowe’s major appliance specialist, I lamented the fact that we as salespeople couldn’t demonstrate the sounds of the major appliances to our customers. And based on the overwhelming response from my previous microwave video, I’d say I’m not alone in that sentiment! This channel was even featured in a podcast Called 20 Thousand Hertz: Domestic Symphony.

This video includes all of the sounds that the buttons and doors make, including the 30-second finale, which doesn’t seem to have an “OFF” function. That melody comes from The Trout Quintet, by the German composer Franz Schubert. It's actually quite beautiful when it's being played by an actual symphony. In one section of this video, my husband left his pocket knife in his pants. So I stopped the dryer, removed the pocket knife, and turned it back on.

My Samsung dryer (Model #DVG45T3200W/A3) cannot be turned off. So, I opened up the controls section of the dryer and found a small black cylinder shaped device marked "2141" "KEPO" that seemed to be where the chime sound was coming from. When I googled "KEPO" I learned it means "noise" in Indonesian. Anyway using a small eyeglass type of screwdriver I was able to work the 2 silver leads/connectors off of it and disable it. The dryer chime noise is gone. It was pretty easy to do.

I'm so sorry, Eleisa. There doesn't appear to be a way to turn the sound off on this washer dryer set. Believe me! We have tried! lol BUT...I will do some research and find out of there is a hack that won't void the warranty. If I find a way to do this, I will post another video just for you (and others like us!). In the meantime, I have put sound dampening tiles on the walls around our washer and dryer plus sound dampening curtains. If you have a door on your laundry area, I would recommend putting sound dampening on the back of the door as well. This is all I have come up with so far. Beat of luck and I will post again if I find a solution! thanks for watching!

Acabo de comprar mi lavadora sansum y no le entiendo muy bien alos ciclos
Hoy empecé a tener problemas con la lavadora cuando va a empezar el ciclo la tapa de la lavadora se le escucha un ruido si cierra pero ese ruido no lo deja de hacer y ya no lava y ni siquiera puede centrifugar.... ayuda x favor

No sabe por qué la mía cuando la prendo y le pongo la opción de lavado y la cantidad de agua, esta empieza a llenar, pero después de unos minutos prenden todos los focos y suena su alarma y empieza a drenar el agua, y su tapa se atasca.

Esto suena como una característica de seguridad. La tapa se bloqueará cuando algo ande mal. Parece que un sensor está funcionando mal, o quizás la varilla de transporte (o el componente amortiguador) entre el tambor y la pared exterior de la máquina aún no se ha quitado. Por favor, ¿cuántos años tiene la lavadora? Todos los electrodomésticos principales vienen con una garantía del fabricante de un año. Recomiendo llamar a la tienda donde lo compraste y preguntarles si tienen alguna sugerencia o si te lo cambiarán. De lo contrario, confiaría en la garantía del fabricante de un año para obtener más ayuda. Estaba muy satisfecha hasta que 8intente usar el Aguascaliente simplemente no funcionó se queda como trabada la lavadora y no hay modo que trabaje

suena como si estuvieras tratando de usar el agua caliente y la tapa de la lavadora trabada contigo, ¿es correcto? la tapa de cierre es una característica de seguridad. Si vuelve a suceder, simplemente presione el botón de encendido y tan pronto como el tambor deje de girar, se desbloqueará para usted.

Every major appliance has a one year manufacture’s warranty. Call the place you got it from to troubleshoot or look up on Samsung website. Sorry I am not a repair person.
Can we get step by step instructions. Manual is in Spanish and I'm not bilingual

There’s a manual online, just type in the model number. Or go to the Lowe’s Home Improvement website, type in the brand and model number to look it up. They always have the instructions in English as well as Spanish.

To my knowledge there is no way to do that. I could be wrong. But we’ve just been dealing with it.

I fill my washer then push the start pause button and as long as the lid is closed you can soak for up to 24hrs before it drains. If you leave the lid open it drains after 15 mins. Additionally if you change the setting once you have already started the load it does drain it out and start Over which I hate! Samsung needs to tighten up, I'm disappointed,We should be able to turn off the tune, soak our clothes and change cycles in the middle of a cycle if we want to. Stop trying to keep the man down for Christ sakes. 😂

First check that the drum holders have been removed. Those are put in place to hold the washer drum still during shipping. If that does not work, call the place you bought it from and they should be able to make a swap for you. Even the best products have defects sometimes. Good luck with everything!

Primero verifique que se hayan quitado los soportes del tambor. Se colocan para mantener quieto el tambor de la lavadora durante el envío. Si eso no funciona, llame al lugar donde lo compró y deberían poder hacer un intercambio por usted. Incluso los mejores productos tienen defectos a veces. ¡Buena suerte con todo!

Oh the dreaded Samsung top loader… it’s better than some brands out there but these are pathetic in terms of failure rates. LG is the best brand for washer dryer

I'm so sorry to hear that! Ours has worked out alright for us. I wish you had had a better experience. The reason we have ours is we did a rent-to-own and it was all that was available at the time. I do hope you're able to find a better set in the future, no matter the brand. Thanks for commenting!

*If it has been under a year since your purchase, there is a one year standard manufacture warranty on all major home appliances.
