Thanks for your help again. I have been testing making apple chips using the air fryer mode. A recipe I have called for 350. Well it’s taking quite a long time 20 minutes now and they are still not crisp. What is the difference between using an air fryer and a convection mode in the Samsung oven?

To adjustment other than these follow. 1. the numeric buttons to set a cooking time. You can enter a time from one second to 99 minutes and 99 seconds. To select a time greater than one minute, enter the seconds too. (For example, to set a cooking time of 20 minutes, enter 2, 0, 0, 0.) If you do not need to set the power level, just press the START button. The microwave will automatically operate at the High power level. If you want to change the power level, go to Step 3. 2. If you want to set the power level to a level other than High, press the OK button. 3. Press the Up/Down buttons or numeric buttons that correspond to the power level you want to use. 4. Press the START button. If you want to add to or reduce the cooking time, use the Up/Down buttons. You can adjust the cooking time while the microwave oven is operating. Let me know if you have any other questions

We’ve almost decided to purchase this microwave. Your review was very helpful. Thanks! The thing I’m hesitant about is that this model is 1 inch taller & 1.5” deeper than our existing microwave. So being a tap bigger will be better than smaller in my opinion. And as far as sticking out it will a bit to open that's normal of course. But i think you will be ok because it uses the recess handle and gives the flush look even though it pops out. Mine does the same and we don't even notice it. But again this is just my opinion you might think differently than me. I guess you could always return if you dont like it but I would bet you will😇💯 let me know how you like if you get it😇

I’m also late to the party here but just got this microwave and can’t figure out if there’s a way to do quick touches for 1-5 minutes or so. A lot of microwaves you just push the number. Am I missing something or should I change my habits to use the sensor cook for things like reheating?

You have preset options and auto cook for fast options. You also have the +30 seconds button that you can hit to as much as needed or after you start you can hit the up and down arrow to add or deduct time quickly 😉 I had the older style also where you could just hit a number unfortunately not available on this. But presets and auto works really well 😇

Hi, My current Samsung mw, mfr 2014, has a really poor seal at the top of the door, causing damage to the cabinet doors above. Is the seal on this mw very tight? Thanks Merry Christmas

Since then they have been revamped from the ground up. So everything is better. Have you heard of this SE issue? I just bought the one a tier below (this one isn’t in stock until June). I then heard there was an issue that when you boil water, the steam fries the circuit and your microwave is dead. I hope that was fixed. I installed mine Sunday. Used it twice. Used it again Tuesday and it wouldn’t heat anything. Luckily I had the holes drilled and the bracket up so I swapped it out in ten minutes. Has this one given you problems since the review? I now have concerns and I feel like I have to stick with Samsung. I can’t afford more holes in the drywall and cabinet!!!

What I have found is that microwaves in general don't last many years like the good old days lol. But What is the model number or yours? I will be glad to try to help. I will see if i can find out what is going on with it stopping. If its been over a year the model will be slightly different as this model just released may 2020. But i would be glad to see of any known issues 😊

Any USB mic will work. When phones had headphone jacks it was so easy. but now you need to buy a adapter cable for whatever device port you have. As an example I use Samsung phones regularly they have a USB type-c Jack so if I was going to use a 360 microphone I could simply use a USB to USB type-c adapter and plug it right into the charging port on my phone. you can also do this with audio jacks. The screen is bright and the dial makes it so easy to use. Not to mention you have a live view of exactly what the Wash is doing on your smart devices you sync to make a change if needed 😉 I'm not sure I fully follow what light you mean the dial itself doesn't light up buy it truly doesn't need to but the screen is perfect

Our Older Microwave the menu lit up...to see Ya must turn on yer normal kitchen light to read it...just find this microwave NOT Having their Menu Lit like the timer is so disappointing for the high price.

End of cook time beeping - apparently this model beeps 3 times: Does the sound on/off feature turn off the beeping? I see that there is a function to turn off the remind signal - but 3 beeps makes my husband crazy and that's what our current microwave does...

I like the way it looks with the ss accents and dark inner surfaces to tie in with the black stainless. Only a small piece of my kitchen shows but through out it mix matches and ties in my taste. Not to mention I'm changing appliances at a rapid rate now that I review them.I have all new appliances since this video lol

Maybe we can figure out the issue together. The fan is actually very powerful on high so something is perhaps defective or the fan needs to be turned to go easily through the vent duct.

Ok so that is the problem. Few things might help. Of course make sure your vent fan was set properly in your microwave facing up. Make sure the vent is completely open and cleaned including your duct work for vent. You should be able to go outside where your microwave is venting. sometimes it gets very dirty. Next Tighten the upper screws to pull your microwave flush. if your microwave is not sitting flush or has any gaps that's not good. you can always pull the screw out and put a spacer in to pull your microwave even closer to the top cabinet. Then lastly buy some caulk that matches your cabinets and caulk the outline of microwave where it's leaking air.

The problem for me isn't how well an appliance works but how well the manufacturer backs their product when it doesn't. I been given to understand that the general consensus is that Samsung Customer Service is abysmal at best. Thanks for the video and I wish you all the luck in the world with your new microwave. I think with Samsung, it's kinda the luck of draw. If you get a good one then you're lucky and it will probably be great for many years 😊 but if you get a lemon, then you will have to put on your battle gear when you go to Samsung for help🤦‍♀️.

Thank you for watching I appreciate your support 🙏 I completely agree customer service is everything 💯 unfortunately we live in a world where it is almost dead. Out of all the items I test & Review I have made my way around many companies and dealing with customer service and its not pretty. it's not a case of standard warranty 1 year is standard and the companies all will follow this through with exceptions for no name companies they usually don't even answer the phone sadly. The issue comes down to how easy this process is and how fast the turnaround. For me it's unfortunate but a absolute must to buy a extended warranty plan solves everything and if you buy the 4 to 5 year almost guaranteed to use it. Bestbuy has the best they just replace with a refund anything they can't fix. But what I like most is you don't have to deal with the manufacture at all it's quick and easy. They always take care of it. But when it comes to electronics or appliances there is not one company that you can purchase from and guarantee that it will not break anymore it's almost as if with anything you buy it's the luck of the draw. Can you say that samsung model ME21R7051SS is simular? I just received that one and there are no reviews on that. I set up the clock and the center docks are blinking. Is that normal.

@@JbTechFanatic It is a new model just manufacturer Sept 2021. I am not sure what you mean by dial. It looks simular to yours. The model shows up on samsung to buy but their are no videos out in review yet. I thought the blinking meant it wasn't set too but it is keeping time. Every time I go to push start to set it, it does nothing. If I start over, hit clock, set time, hit enter start, hit PM, hit enter. The time is set, PM set but two dots blinking.

So as long as your time is showing after press clear twice every thing is working correctly. The blinking dots are nothing to worry about. Is everything else functional on the microwave

Mine turns on by itself It is more like the vent automatically turns on How do I fix it

If not honestly save the money and get the normal one. 💯 I love technology it's my passion but it's not needed in a microwave unless it's with the oven. So in that case it's better to get better performance as your paying extra for the technology and get less performance at least so far

I never thought that Samsung has such junk electronics, it worked for 13 months and broke, it shows an SE error. I previously had a Frigidaire (Electrolux Group) that has been running for over 10 years without any problem. Now I'm worried about the rest of the appliances of this brand in my kitchen, because I replaced everything with Samsung.

Well that sucks I've been there and it's not fun sorry your going through it😞 unfortunately all companies all appliances and technology electronics of all kinds even cars this day of age can fail without notice. I always recommend a extended warranty as this is the throw away age to manufacturers. It's a replace don't fix kind of thing. New models every 6 months or year. But another thing I've learned since diving in to this business is you can fix things easier than it might seem. My advice Check the code and the part needed and see what the part cost online then research how to put it in yourself. I had a kitchen aid fail they wanted 900 to fix. I bought the part for 30 bucks it took me 15min to fix. Thank you for watching and sharing your experiences I appreciate you taking the time to share 🙏

great question no I'm a nobody I wish Samsung wanted to give me free stuff long before release lol But I do love their products the customers service however is starting to get to me not great. I have spent so much money buying stuff just to review it kinda insane when I think about it. I have never received anything free that I have reviewed on my channel. I pay out of my own money. my channel is not sponsored and has no affiliate sponsorship. I just have a tech addiction and a bad illness that changed my life and gave me a passion to help others and decided to share with the world on KZread. But I got this microwave for a discount so 300 bucks for my honest written review that is through a third party advertising company though with no restrictions even written if I want to say its horrible i can. And That has nothing to do with my KZread channel. In addition to paying that amount I had to trade in my old microwave. And that was about 800 and I've already seen this on sale for about that discount price online that I paid. Anyway point is nothing I say is determined by anyone or anything else but my own opinion. My cash my opinion I cant be bought and wont be💯 Benefit of doing a written review if i can even get picked through a add company is not the small discount its getting a product early enough to do a video before a million other channels have theirs up. Big channels get everything free paid to say things paid to attack other products and they have it long long before we the customers do impossible to compete with that. I do this channel for one reason helping others learn about new technology that can make them happy in even the slightest way. I honestly don't care about money or fame just a tech community. Haha, yes, I completely agree with your assessment. However, foolish, as you may think I am, remember that I am on the other end dealing with incessant questions about how much they will have to pay to watch my video or subscribe. If you think I would point that out for no reason at all, this goes to show why you can't simply judge what someone is doing without any knowledge whatsoever. KZread is not just for young techie customers who understand everything about the internet; often, it might be someone's grandma who needs a new washing machine and it popped up online for them, not even searching for it on KZread itself. Well, I'm glad to know you know how to breathe. 💯 There's definitely hope for humanity after all

This is usually caused by a key being held down to long and needs to be reset. Unplug the microwave for a full 10 minutes from the power. Once it powers back on hopefully this will be resolved. Next step is Un plug and take off the panel and clean any dust behind the touch keys. But just try the reset first and let me know

JUNK! Stay away from all Samsung appliances!! My fridge has had issues since brand new. Over 10 service calls and it still won't make ice. I purchased a microwave very similar to this one to match my fridge. It stopped working in a year or so. I was able to fix it by replacing the thermal sensor. Now another year or 2 later and it stopped working again. My wife had a pot of soup on the stove and the steam got up into it and it beeped and now shows the 5E/SE error. It's made to go over the stove, but it's not made to handle the steam that will naturally come while using your stove! I'll never buy Samsung again!

Bummer sorry to hear about all those issues 😕 Ive been there before And it stinks. MY GE profiile All failed in a year and a half. heck even my Viking set in my other home. I've learned my lesson with any appliances and any tech for that matter. I always buy the extended warranty when available. It is almost a guarantee that you will use it in this day and age. @@JbTechFanatic Thanks. I did spend hundreds on the warrant for my Samsung fridge. They were out at least 10 times and never fixed the issue. Its obviously a design flaw with their ice makers, but the warranty or Lowes did nothing for me other than saying sorry. It's just frustrating and I'm certainly done with Samsung, although my washer & dryer is still going strong after 12 years now which I'm told is more than expected for a front load.

Oh man that's not cool💯 honestly since the old fashion style ice makers no fridge seems to get it right 95 percent of the new high end fridges have ice make problems. I remember 25 years ago our fridge would have ice to the top non stop lol. The Warranty is definitely expensive. one cheaper option is to do a Warranty through allstate they now warrant all tech & or appliances in your home for 25 bucks the difference is they have a deductible or there's a few good home warranty companies that will cover everything for one price but they also have deductibles and only fix not replace. I like the product replacement warranty. Unfortunately fridges normally have to have a few problems before they do a replacement however you would think after 10 they would just replace it? I think by law you can demand them to actually be honest with you. Anyway if there's any time I can help I would be glad to troubleshoot with you💯 I hope things get better my friend happy holidays to you and your family.

Does this microwave have 1 touch start? Example if I hit the 1 will it start cooking for 1 minute. It’s an important feature for my husband. Thanks!

It has one touch in blocks of 30 seconds or sensor cook. But you can't example hold down 1 and get one minute like some model's. But the +30 works sort of the same.
