I bought one for the deck when I heard about them. Yes they are expensive. It worked so well, I went all in an bought another one plus a double pack of 6 amp batteries (they say 1 amp = 1 hour). I will say they go crazy zapping bugs. The only issue I have with them is, they attract so many bugs that they'll stop zapping so you have to take the top off and clean them... often. FYI... The best tool I've found for cleaning the top is a round elongated bristle tire rim cleaner. Just slide it in an twist!! We sit on the deck now to watch football into the evening in the Smoky Mountains

I love this thing! I want the price to go down too. I'd buy another one. Mosquitoes are pretty bad in Kentucky near the Ohio river. AND, now with diseases becoming a problem in some places here in the US by those suckers, everyone should own one. or two. I go through a 4 Ah battery every 2 days running it from about 6 pm to about 10 pm. Hybrid would be better like you said. I'd run it all the time. I ran mine with very mild rain one day and it still ran, by the way. When I pick it up at night, I blow it with a small leaf blower because I almost got stung by a bee one day. I blow it a little before turning it off and hear some zapping, then I do it at the hole the tray comes from to blow out any bee or beetle that gets stuck. Some things eat the dead bugs by the way. Don't leave it on the ground to new people, ants go into it and you don't want them in the circuits.

It's like 179 and 229 in a 2AH kit plus 15% tax here in Canada. Same price as the brushless full size sawzall.

Just got my new factory blemished one for $40 tool only. Also had bought a factory reconditioned full sized brushless Sawzall for $39 last year. Works perfect. Don't ever pay anywhere. Near full price for ryobi. Gotta watch for the sales...

I have a UV light in air conditioner that kills mildew in my home AC system. You DO NOT want to touch the UV bulb and leave your greasy finger prints all over it. No do you want to look into it. Just my two cents.

The bug zapper needs to be hybrid for sure. I would love to see the price go down probably $30 before I could see it being a deal, but as for now this fool will be soon departing with his $99+tax for one🤣
