It’s ridiculous for Maher to call this garbage out now when he and his ilk in the media, academia and Democratic Party only have themselves to blame for the monsters they’ve created. And if he really hates this “progressive” cultural Marxism, I’d love to see what the shill has to say about his precious Democrats who’ve been facilitating and encouraging the absurdity this whole damn time. Oh, that’s right. His script can’t stray too far away from his daily “Democrats are trying so hard to do the right thing but Republican man bad” routine. The “I thought walls were bad” line with the orange man bad picture really stood out to me in this regard, and just reaffirms the farce that is the mainstream media. I find it hard to believe Maher and the MSM outlets are too ignorant or forgetful to remember the Obama administration, including the Messiah himself and the usual suspects like Clinton, Pelosi, Schumer, Nadler, and others were all in favor of a “southern barrier” as recent as 2014, just months before orange man bad racist announced his border platform. The media should be tried for treason in respect to their supposed function.

Tried cancelling pornography. They've been the cancel culturists for all time, but it's recently now spreading on the left and now it's a real problem. It's also extremely overexaggerated. The whole Dr. Seuss thing was not from any pressure from the left. It was a business decision by the Dr. Seuss Foundation, and most of us didn't even know about it until the right freaked out over it. I personally think they wanted it like that, to get 6 books which aren't selling and get these people to buy them up before they get discontinued. Brilliant strategy. Any business out there that's in trouble, just pretend the left is trying to cancel your products and watch the right-wingers flood to your store or website and buy it all up just to show those pesky cancel culture, SJW, snowflake libtards! Also, you have incidents where Nike has Colin Kaepernick do commercials and they try to cancel them by burning their own Nike's. A company that makes coolers took away a discount to NRA members and they reacted by blowing up their expensive coolers. lmfao Bill Maher's focus on the left is playing right into these people's hands. Doesn't mean he doesn't have a point, but you'd think it's solely a left-wing thing, when it's worse and always has been on the right.

One of the ideals supported by liberalism is to have open debate, freedom of thought and speech, and civil discourse (on college campuses) especially with those with whom we disagree. . .If you listen you may find that today a majority of conservatives and independents support the very same thing. So Liberals don't own a monopoly on "good thinking". Which is a shame, because the woke "left" is about as far from being progressive as you can get. Progressivism of my generation was about making life better for everyone including marginalized groups, with a focus on marginalized groups. The modern woke movement is about attacking anyone who is not marginalized. The woke movement's trans ideology stands against the feminism that has been a trademark of the left for over half a century. And critical race theory just teaches that it is okay to be racist against whites (which is racism...) My generation's progressive left pushed for worker rights and stronger protections at work. Gen Z's woke left pushes to get workers fired if they don't go along with absolutely asinine belief systems.
