Pay attention, Colorado Springs please bring this here. Go get a job stop acting like it’s everyone else’s fault because you don’t have shelter or drug programs. Go clean yourself up and get a job.

If the transients would use the area appropriately then they wouldn't have enacted this ordinance. However, the majority relieve themselves, throw trash, needles etc. where ever they want. Also, it's shared space, not their own. If you want your own place/space then you do what everyone else has to do, work, be self disciplined, and earn those items. Pueblo has invested in a ton of resources to help. There's the shelter, plus additional space currently being renovated. There's multiple addiction in patient services happening. Two facilities are in the works one in Pueblo West and one in Bessemer. At some point people have to take responsibility for their own decisions. Pueblo is offering plenty of resources to help and assist. Yes, we all make mistakes. At some point one must acknowledge them and make changes otherwise the mistake gets repeated.

How is it a lawful law? If these are public lands, then shareholders of that common land must be allowed to use their share of the public asset.

Share holders???? WTF you smoking! They don’t contribute to the economy or pay taxes PROPERTY Tax payers are the only citizens that deserve public space usage of any type!!!

I mean i would agree but most of the time they are littering up the land/ using drugs and or have mental illnesses. It’s not like your average joe who just wants to go camping.
