Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 price for its variant - Himalayan 450 Base starts at Rs. 3,17,605. The price for the other variants - Himalayan 450 Pass, Himalayan 450 Summit and Himalayan 450 Hanle Black are Rs. 3,23,151, Rs. 3,28,607 and Rs. 3,34,245. The mentioned Himalayan 450 prices are the on-road price of Kolkata.
Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 is a adventure bike available in 4 variants and 5 colours. The Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 is powered by 452cc BS6 engine which develops a power of 39.47 bhp and a torque of 40 Nm. With both front and rear disc brakes, Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 comes up with anti-locking braking system. This Himalayan 450 bike weighs 196 kg and has a fuel tank capacity of 17 liters.
While the bike retains a silhouette similar to the previous model, it looks sleeker and more athletic. Also, the new colour options lend it a fresh visual appeal. The new colour options include Kaza Brown, Slate Himalayan Salt, Slate Poppy Blue, Hanle Black and Kamet White. Other features include a colour TFT screen with Google Maps and Bluetooth connectivity. Moreover, it also gets switchable ABS and ride-by-wire throttle.
The Himalayan 450 weighs 196kg; a few kgs lighter than the 411 while the fuel tank capacity is increased to 17 litres.
Bajaj Dominar 400 has received a list of new touring windshield as standard. The list includes a visor, handguards, engine bash plate, engine guard, pillion backrest, rear luggage rack, phone mount and a USB charging port.Built on the perimeter frame, the Dominar 400 gets 43mm open cartridge USD fork like the 390 Duke. The rear monoshock is preload adjustable and has a stamped metal swingarm. The Dominar 400 has a radial front brake caliper acting on a large 320mm rotor. At the rear, you get a 230mm rotor with a single-piston caliper. Dual-channel ABS remains as standard. The 17-inch alloy rims are now machine-finished and come shod with MRF radial tyres.

    I want to share a short experience that how Royal Enfield is improved a lot compared to other brands. I went to testride meteor 350 and a person attended me (already talked over the phone after booking test ride) I was surprised that the person gave me the keys of that bike directly and told me to do test ride as long as I want. This is the first time that I did test ride alone. (compared to competitor, where they first ask if planning to buy if not, they will reject the test ride) It is not about the bike but about the dealership that how they treat people. I will definitely recommend Royal Enfield to other people, my friends and relatives. Royal Enfield has now improved a lot from last few years, in engine design, in service, in sales and also in pre sales (test ride)

    Dominar is tuned well for good handling. Spares expenses r reasonable with the type of BHP. Avg 100 to 120 highway speed .. its safe n comfortable. Spending lakhs on more CC bikes is not worth in india. As spares issue will stop the bike anytime.. personal opinion as i had 350cc bullet. It required frequent issue.. best one was Aquila 250twin. It was fun driving .. heaven on earth. But i had to sell for lack of spares.

    Why re repositioned the pass light switch.... It should be always usable with index finger, so that you can use horn and pass light at the same time.

    Can you post some opinion on How the Dominar vs Himalayan weight feels on the front ? One of the most hated as well as loved thing about Dominar is its weight, particularly front heavy that makes it less desirable for city. How does Himalayan match on this ? I have Dominar 250 and I'm going for Himalayan 450 so I'm wondering about differences in handling in city.

    @@MotorRedefined so essentially it feels similiar but 15-20% more powerful and far more comfortable ride quality on bad roads. I think the disadvantage would be loos of cornering and track abilities due to larger wheels. All in all, Dominar 400 to Himalayan isn't really an upgrade, unless you're going to do extreme offroading.

    Test drive both is what i would suggest I own dominar because it's a bigger looking bike with good posture suiting me. City riding is just the thing that you need to know your bike to handle it with ease.

    Himalayan 450 is an off-road bike with 230mm ground clearance, Dominar 400 is a highway tourer with 157mm ground clearance. there's no point in comparing let alone a drag race. drag race is so stupid and pointless especially in this case.
