NEW ROBOT - VEX IQ Full Volume | 65 Points Teamwork

Ғылым және технология

Have you seen a robot that can do the supply zone? What about a double park? This robot does both!
This is a fun robot (we've named KnifeEdge) that we built to complement a robot that scores on the goals. It fits under the bar and is able to clear the supply zone in under a minute. Plus, who doesn't want to fling the cubes halfway across the field? :)
It's a relatively easy robot to build, though it's not as easy as it initially looks.

    Is there a way to make the flipper stay on the ground. The flipper is like at the end it gets up and at the bottom it touches.

    @joseph973 any tips on how to make the arm go down but freely move to catapult? I’ve got the rubber band mechanism figured out to fling blocks back but I’m struggling to figure out how to lower the platform down.

    How does the double motor control the flip mechanics?

  • @Joseph973

    @Joseph973

    7 ай бұрын

    It's a 1:1 gear ratio on one of the motors, and direct drive on the other. The rubber bands help it fling them further.

    The 2" omni wheels barely fit under the bar, so the bar has just over 2" clearance. It is a challenge making everything fit in that small of a package.

However you can go here to get up close pictures of the robot www.studentroboticseducation.com/vex-iq-robotics-2023-knifeedge/ . There are also a lot of up close shots at the start of this video that should give you a good idea of how to build it. Let me know if you have any questions, and good luck!
