Thinking about switching to Riverside. When you recording multiple camera's in Riverside, does Riverside use ai to auto switch between speakers in editing?

  • @Riversidefm

If you're using multiple cameras in the same room with one speaker, there won't be auto-switching, as that's based on audio. But we can actively switch between speakers for remote guests!

Excellent new editing features and a great video summary. I have a question from here in the UK: We want to produce an audio-first podcast but also have, as a by-product, the exact same edit as a video podcast to load up on KZread. If we use all these new features to edit the final audio content, how much extra work is there to do to also produce the exact same (to the word) video version? Then both audio and video podcasts will be identical. Thanks, loving your brilliant content 😊

So I used the Spotify Podcaster app last year when first developing. I only want audio and the experience was much simpler to invite guests to a recorded call. I’m Disappointed that the new version makes guests download the app. Too many barriers for them to join the call recording. Also seems weird that I can’t do as much with just my phone vs. the desktop app. Love to understand this. Spotify Podcaster had its experience complexities but the simplicity was great. I’m guessing the reason is that your audience is pro podcasters?
