I just love this. Growing up in Hawaii this brings back memories. The black sand beach was so much hotter than regular sand. 🥵 I think sprinkling the sand on at the end brings the beach feel out. If I ever get the chance I have to try this.

This is just beautiful. I liked the matte finish, wonder if there was perhaps a matte finish glue that would have kept that look. Love the monotone look of it and you're right, that gold edging sets the whole thing off so nicely!

Brilliant! I love the shiny finish with the black sand over it. Question: do you feel you get the same cell effect using a heat gun versus a torch? I don’t seem to get as many cells as I want.

How do you make those cells so perfect ?
