I must say, I had no idea that 3 YEARS later (yes I said 2 in the video.. Hah - June 2016) after unboxing the ORIGINAL THRASHERS... that I would be standing here with my very good friend Everett again - unboxing the RCSPARKS V3 version of the Streamline RC JET BOAT! Over the last few years I have been working with the company and testing their boats for durability. Well today was no different.
Now the "Latest and GREATEST".. these FULLY UPGRADED Thrashers are absolute beasts and we want to put them to the test. But are we going out to some deep river? NO WAY! Inches of water, with a creek bed that NO PROP BOAT could ever go.. nay I say - ANY BOAT could - because of the bruising rocks that would easily tear into any thin hull.
Thrasher is meant to take a Beat Down. This was always the vision of Scott Pennestri and his Son. Several years ago they had a plan to provide a boat that a consumer could easily throw into a stream, bash around as much as you wanted.. and walk away to boat another day! Well, I have never endorsed a product before.. but I was quick to say yes when I saw the new design. What an honour to have an RCSparks wrap available for everyone to get with their boats!
Self Righting even faster than before, a Power Bilge Pump that runs its own program to ensure that the boater is always able to PLAY without RETURNING TO SHORE! Genius.

"Thrasher V3 is arguably the most versatile RC jet boat ever created. Streamline RC has put years of research and development into creating the most rugged and maneuverable jet boat available anywhere. Our patent pending jet drive system utilizes a purpose designed and built motor that combines the motor shaft and jet drive shaft into one balanced system. A hydrostatic polymer bearing supports the tail end of this unique drive system for nearly maintenance free, balanced, high RPM performance year after year. Oversized stainless steel front and rear motor bearings finish out this 1100W continuous brushless drive system. To support the power and resulting beating that this 12lbf thrust drive system can put on a hull, we have developed a three part hull system that can take some real punishment and allow for the bottom hull and the top deck as well as the hatch to be replaced independently. These high-quality vinyl kits allow you to choose your favorite color scheme, and renew the look of your Thrasher as often as you like. With all of these features, Thrasher V3, will give the highest performance possible, easy maintenance, and an awesome look year after year. "

Thank you watching that made my Saturday morning. You guys sold me on the V1 Thrasher and our family have really enjoyed it. With the V3 it seems that there is finally a boat that you can truly bash just like an rc car. I agree with Everett even just driving it slowly with that jet propulsion system is truly amazing and so much fun!
That's such an awesome product. Improving over the years, constantly, pushing the limits ahead and letting us having more fun with RC. Thank you very much for making it and showing it to us!

This is an amazing white water craft.. It get's mighty bored in a round and around pond or lake.. It takes huge white water rapids in stride and begs for more.. WAY TOO COOL.. a must have in my Opinion.

16:18 Elon Musk suddenly gets very excited watching this video. "Oh! Yes, deer, go in the water. Go where it's nice and deep!" Man, I thought my Trasher XT was a tough cookie. I've had it for 2 years, plenty of abuse, disturbingly little maintenance, nothing broken. The V3 looks like a vault! And the design has been perfected even more? Streamline RC are absolutely slaying it.

Well, i didnt think id find a boat i HAD TO HAVE in RC but i just did, coolest part is i own a real 17ft 1976 Regatta Jet boat with a big block ford and berkeley pump so this will be really fun to take to lake parties and run around when the regatta is anchored down.

Awesome boats man. I have a old Kyosho Nitro boat (despite being called a Nitro it is electric) from the early 90's . Can't wait for more TTC either! Great work bro!
