Hi, I just love looking at the skeins. Especially the red one. The color is so vibrant. It’s a good conversation starter. If I placed one of the skeins in a giveaway; it may cost me $20.00 to ship😂😂😂.

Might purchase this yarn for a sweater pattern I have. Long Cardigan.

Wow those are big. I don't think I realized they came in that big of a skein. That would be nice for a blanket & you could use a few colors for striping & carry yarn up the sides. I hope Michael's doesn't give you any problems with the return. I would return it too. 🙂

My current Red Heart super saver in Persimmons is a beautiful color and doesn’t feel stiff or scratchy and slides through my hook very easily as opposed to a white skein of the same brand which is quite stiff and drags on the hook and feels dry. Maybe the white has been sitting around for a lot longer than the Persimmons.

I was thinking more of a doorstop than a weapon. I agree, though, though that you could definitely do some damage with 35+ ounces of yarn.

I ordered red heart yarn from Joann's the beginning of the month it took over 2 week to get my order. I got emails from them saying my order was shipped then got emails saying my order was canceled. It was so confusing. But I did end up getting my order . It was over 80.00

Today Michaels has 70% off which will come to 23 and change for that yarn but today you can get it at Joanne's for $11.29 I had bought a whole lot of that yawn and paid $11.99 which was a good deal. And at one time Jo-Ann's had the blue for 7.99. That was a couple of months ago

@@penley-annscreationspenny I know Michaels is overpriced. I got it from Joann's for $11.99 and the blue when they had it for $7.99 and now Joann has it for 11. 27 but I have enough of it.

Not for me...I lug around enough weight with myself , Project bag and Oxygen carry bag. So, I'll live with taking care of my ends. 😂❤

Hi, I was just mentioning my experience when I was a teenager with all the skeins to and from school. My afghan was a school project for Art class.

I personally feel like Michaels has been doing that to their yarn prices for years now. I barely shop there anymore. Joanns does it with some yarns not all thank goodness but I did get annoyed when they raised the prices of their big twist value 2 or so yrs ago

Hi, In the beginning its was due to the shipping companies raising the rates of cargoes overseas to the States ports. Once one company raises the price it’s a snow ball effect. Thanks for letting me know about Joann’s pricing.

Hi Penny, I don’t buy at Michael’s any more for that same reason. Then you get charged 9.99 for shipping unless you spend $99 in your order! I make that mistake by not chkg the content when it comes n then it’s too late to return them. I couldn’t afford to pay so much for one color yarn so I wouldn’t buy it. Is it as soft as it looks or dry like the typical super saver which are due n rough to the touch?

Hi, The yarn is on sale at Joann’s for $15.00. Michael’s raided the price and gave out a couple to reduce the price to its original price. The touch I would presume is the same. It’s hard to get a true feeling because the skein has 1,855 yards and tightly wrapped. If you don’t like working with Red Heart I would say that you will not like the giant skein.

Hi, It’s selling at Joann’s online only. If not Yarnspirations has the yarn.

All the more reason to show jo ann some love. I want them to survive bankruptcy. Michael's does not have fabric, overcharges more, and joanns has a better selection.
