@@KevinTalbotTV I love MT 8 the only thing that has broke were the arms. I put the RPM arms on it and nothing else has broken. I think they may have improved the build since the original one. I got mine about a month and a half ago.

The $150 dollar HobbyWing combo for this is insane. 50mph on 2s. Forget 3s u less you just want 70mph speed runs. And FYI the V1 Body is so much better then the V2 and is a direct fit

The little truck that couldn't be killed. I think death ramp found its kryptonite. The Rival MT10 is an incredible beast. I agree with you, if you want a basher worth the expense, get a rival mt10. That was awesome. And I've seen the KT video you referred🌩🌩❤️❤️👍👊💥💯🚘🤘👊👍👍❤️🌩🌩🌩

Be glad y’all weren’t here for Memorial day weekend !!!!!!! The whole town is blown up, can’t even get any food. All the restaurants are full capacity and the beach is overcrowded. Rocky and Richard and I worked the Airshow out at the airport last 2 days! It was so busy!!!!! I sat out by Highway 35 and worked the gate to the airport. We are all sunburnt and exhausted lol. Still running my Helion Avenge. Same truck before it was the Rival. Think i got it in 2018/19. Upgraded power system and rpm arms/tires. Indestructible and a fast as hell.

You need to do some modifications on this car for it not to break. You are far better off with the Kagama. Most RC guys are buying Kagama.

I put a surpass hobby 3660 3800kv into mine but kept on breaking driveshafts so I'm just going back to the stock motor, just thought I would let you know my experience with mine. What I'am keeping as a good upgrade in mine is the blx 100 from jennys rc. Keep rocking on man your videos are the best!

I'm not sure how Kevin took so long to break his truck. I have one and I burned thru all the axles, the esc and motor and a ton of spur gears. Surprisingly I've had good luck with the arms. I've broke some parts of the chassis and the diff cups for the center wear out way too fast. I'd say it's a decent truck, but overrated imo.....and I don't drive mine as wild or hard as Kevin, not even close tbh.

@@thunderrc well from what I've seen , u have decent luck or skill to reduce ur breakages somehow. Also fyi, the diff housing has a flaw. One side of the diff is plastic where the outdrive comes thru. Gets all wallered out and develops a huge amount of slop. Making the drive axle way off balance and more prone to wearing out even faster

Such a great little car. I love mine. One piece of advice, if you change out the electronics, stay with stock size motor. A larger 3660 motor will bend the motor mount on hard landings instantly. Then you'll lose your mesh and chew up spurs fast as heck. I'm currently swapping mine back to stock size motor due to bent mounts. Maybe you can use your pull to help get aftermarket support in the states. This truck would really benefit from a better motor mount made of stronger material, and a metal spur.

Great comment I have the pro4 sct which is the exact same vehicle with longer chassis, all the parts I order are labeled mt10 and I know exactly what you mean by the motor mount and spur , can’t find a metal spur, but also gotta say the pro4 has gone unnoticed and it’s just as tough as this truck cause it’s all the same parts but body tires bumpers and slight longer chassis

I just got on of these things and the servo died after 15 minutes. Got a new and better servo and am waiting for it to arrive. Pretty disappointed with the Reedy servo, but the rest of the car has been great so far.

No, this is actually made my team associated.

It is close to indestructible until the chassis at the bulkhead breaks. The better version of it, the Helion Avenge broke at the bulkhead as well. The Granite is brutally tough as well, BUT the Redcat MT10E is the toughest true 10 scale I have ever ran ONCE the servo saver is upgraded or replaced. It is tougher than the HELION/Rival 100%. I love both.

@@thunderrcIt is BUT everyone I spoke to that has both like the Rival more because it has a Center diff. The Redcat has an optional CD though! Yes! You can order a center differential. I love them all but the Redcat has been the toughest to me and has the best suspension.

Btw, I started running those Zee batteries a little over a year ago after using Power Hobby for 5 years and the Zee batteries are way better and cheaper.

Thanks! Yeah I was mainly concerned about getting parts for it when I need to replace. Arrma stuff is everywhere and the TS stuff seems a little bit harder to get from what I've read. Good to know about durability!
