If you want to save ur self some cash buy lava rock from homedepot or lowes. Rinse it really well and put it in ur tanks in bags. I put 2 bags to 4 in each of my breeder tanks. Since I just run sponge filters. Super cheap for 20lbs

Good idea, I was thinking about filling a hob filter with lava rocks and plants as well

@SS Bisboy You can get a pond basket and run some plastic hangers through it. That was it stays at the top and you can put pathos in them with tons if lava rock and the fish will leave them alone. Hob has cost electricity to run I try keep it as low cost but as functional as possible.

@@SSBisboy ok I must have misunderstood u were showing the bristlenose plecos in breeder box and u say u will eventually moved them over to 10 gallon dat u will show later in th his video I took it u were goin to show the parents of plecos my bad SS ,well when u get time can u do a video on the bristlenose plecos interested in learning your breeding process🤜🤛✌🥃🥃

@bayou504ctc5 I feed cichlid pellets, and algea wafers and just put a couple caves and average 78 degrees. Nothing crazy by any means just gotta let them do there thing

@ryanrogers8211 just boring I think no personality, american cichlids all the way it's American cichlids or I get rid of my tanks. Not including discus as they are boring aswell .

Have you kept african cichlids? I think every fish is different but they definitely have personality! Mine follow me side to side of the tank

@SSBisboy I have kept them before. I just think they are naff and boring. Only Africans I would consider keeping are frontosa or calvus, but I much prefer South American cichlids are infinitely better, in my opinion. I just have no time whatsoever for peacocks and haps stuff boring.
