I was also an Ls main and only used the bow in base mhworld as the replacement for matchups since it was "easy".......but because of your videos I now have 3 pages worth of raw and elemental lbg and hbg today decked out and everyone in lobbies loves hearing i get the ideas from your videos. Great video. Slightly miffed more skills are around dereliction even though it makes perfect sense design wise.

Can't be-leave I got the Khezu LBG layered weapon never buy anything that doesn't effect gameplay. But capcom got me with this one. Also the best event quest rewards so far the Holmes and Watson pet set 3 has been a fun update.

Was waiting for a new elem lbg vid! Love your guides man. Can i use non rf pierce elem for this set?

nahh bloodlust 2 not needed at all. (for guns that is) i had a comment before saying higher bloodlust is needed but hmm maybe he based that from his/her experience in melee Thank you for the support!

Can you make a sneak attack element build? I tested it, it works. I just don't have the augments for rapid fire element.(trying to keep full strife instead of 2)

Luckily there's a new qurio augmentation's option (purple augmentation+) which allows you to rolls very usefull skills which also comes with sacrifices or negative stats and the most often skill that you would get is bloodlust. But if you play on pc and if you want things go efficiently, just use augmentation mod.

Well, sometimes the game is kinda annoying you see, sometimes you get the skill you want immediately and sometimes it takes hours. So....i think the best option is using mod for this because, uh...who want to waste too much time for some game?

Did the skill priority list change at all with dragon conversion, or even with the new charms being able to have strife and dereliction now?

Hey Angbata11 did sticky get a secret buff and nerf ? For some reason it doing exhaust now. And for some reason my explousion get larger damage than rest. Ex. From 175 to 207

So you basically removed Coalescence 3 and Mail of hellfire For Strife 3 Doesnt element benefit more from a flat boost, rather than a percentage boost? Im still Using the old elemental setup But with SinisterGrudge helm with bloodlust Always love your videos, was actually starting to think strife wasnt a good skill for Elemental LBG, glad that it is useful

not strife 3. Only strife 2. Think of Mail of hellfire as only 15 raw. ( with the armor setup you can easily get resentment 3 and attack 4 which is better than the old setup of resentment + mail of hellfire 1 )

Using Bloodlust and Strive isn't counterprudent. Almost always, your life will be cured by the Bloodlust, doesn't it take away from the up time of the Strive or is it just my imagination? Sorry if it's misspelled, I'm Spanish-speaking and I had to translate this to write with Google. I understand your videos when I hear them write, it's another level xD! Thanks for your videos, they help me a lot to play with my favorite weapon in RISE, which is the LGB.

I’m using the builds from the last video, I’m getting none stop one shot, and my health is constantly below half or so, with Red HP, the HP drain is too much! Am I doing something wrong or is it just an accept it and get good?..

in anomaly hunts that is our fate as gunners. That is why you should eat for moxie. Evade extender 2 to keep distance from the monster. The health being constantly in half should only happen a bit - once you clear frenzy all that red gauge will become green again.

Hey Ang, can this work with the Royal Order Bowgun? I'm conflicted between doing individual elem builds vs sticking with an all-around elemental LBG

So strife is better for us than Mail of Hellfire? Also with the new targeted talisman meld system, is it your opinion that rapid fire up level 2 is worth more than attack boost 3? Both can easily achieve 3-1-0 slots with the new melds.

What I would suggest is to to run strife on the head and chest and hope to roll bloodlust on one of them. That way you can still use mail of hellfire on waist.

rapid fire up level 2 is more worth it in my opinion because the set given in the video already starts with attack boost 2 coming from kushala. I still havent seen a rapid fire tali with 3-1 lol I'm unlucky

from previous vid it means, every elemental rapid fire piercing kinda need 2 ammo up skill . While the non rapid fire elemental piercing not need rapid fire and ammo up deco/skill slotted.

so been playing around and hard to determine what is better. With lvl 2 strife and my current armor rolls i can hit all the core skills with CE 7, crit element 3 and attack boost 4 (crit eye 3, 3-1 talisman) (65% affinity from strife/blood lust/CE) or i can run 1 lvl strife and hit attack boost 7 coalescence 3 mail of hell fire 1 (atk boost 3, 3-1 talisman). We all know training dummy isn't the best for elemental ammo testing what would you recommend for a solid target hunt?

I’m thinking the early one. Why? more elemental damage and raw damage. Why more raw damage? You crit. Attack 7 is a 10% raw damage increase plus a bit more Attack 4 with a 65% universal affinity gives a bigger raw damage boost when you crit and alsooo more element! CE 7 gives 40% , BL , 20%, Strife is another 10% (iirc because you are at level 2? or maybe just 5% as the lower bonus)

when you crit you get an additional 20% multiplicative bonus on top of that 5% coming from attack 4

@AngBata 11 so I fine tuned both sets and they hit about the same on the training dummy. Both around 32,300 at 400 ticks(no food skills or items). I know the training dummy isn't the best representation for elemental ammo who do you think is the best monster to punish for accurate testing?

Im new to LBG, just wanted to ask is this better than the other LBG build you posted 6 days ago? The one with Mail of Hellfire.

Never been a fan of bloodlust, coelescence, or dereliction. But I run pretty much every other skill and even have atk 7 and wex 3 on since i have space for and ofcourse rapid 3, element 5 but don't see close to the dmg numbers in your video. Are those 3 skills really that hindering to damage? Also is critical element worth ?

Yeah not having those 3 skills close to halves the dmg even with atk 7 wex 3. If u like comfy sets just run raw (rf pierce 2 and spread 3). With elemental sets u have to run the hp loss skills or its not worth running it at all But fyi the numbers he gets in his vids are slightly exaggerated (i think he uses a few attack consumable buffs & is against monsters that are seriously weak to the element type). Against mons with avg weaknesses u should probably see ticks of 60-70

“seriously weak to the element type” - yes. the whole point of element is using the right gun for the situation. “Never been a fan of bloodlust, coal… dereliction” - Yeah, you are pretty much losing on a lot. Melee can get away with using percentage buff increases to their elem damage because melee weapons have higher elemental damage in general. Bullets start around 20 elem damage only while melee varies from 50+ and up. So 10% just adds 2 for bullets while melee gets a fat 5. Since dereliction gives flat bonuses and coal too - you get more damage especially when you pair it with percentage based bonuses. I know it seems pretty daunting to try because of the life drain - with evade extender 2 it’ll be easier to manage

Nicely done. Strife is a nice buff to add on top of Dereliction and Burst (the new name for Chain Crit), especially if you're using Ice LBGs to tear through the infamous Afflicted Diablos/Seething Bazelgeuse duo investigation. I managed to augment a point of Bloodlust onto my Risen Kushala chest while only sacrificing a point in Razor Sharp, though I burned through about 100+ Royal Amber Essences and maybe 600k zenny worth of rolls to get it. Also, I'm pretty sure Resuscitate procs when you have Frenzy Virus, regardless of source. Why else would it be on the Shagaru set?

It's more on Resuscitate's uptime using Frenzy. Ranged weapons can clear frenzy pretty fast that Resus' uptime is like 10-15% duration (random estimation)

I rolled element exploit on the silver Los helm, and bumped one of the 1 slots up to a 3. I freaked because it opens up so many melee element builds for me.

Pass. I don't like micro managing direlection. I do like Risen Kushala chest, but not for my fire builds. Siliverlos Chest and Risen Teo legs works well for me... But then again, I'm not a muh DPS hunter

@@AngBata11 sorry sir. Its HBG. The 2 levels of CB were from the Chaotic Helm (augment) and the Chaotic Mail (cb 2 minus 1 due to skill+ augment). I plan on buying another helm to replace the cb with another burst skill. Again my plan was to make sure i get the blessing 2, strife 3 and dereliction 3. The key to the build is to have an augment that’ll give 1 bloodlust and atleast 2 level 1 slots. With that setup, all of my elemental hbg sets have steadiness 3 because i like the ballistic 1 effect of it and i can eat for temper.

I just rotate elemental weakness monsters and keep them mats farming on the argosy and I never run out 🤷‍♂️

Like you said Strife gives percentage boost. I’m not sure about the math but wouldn’t 15 raw from Mail of Hellfire be more valuable than an extra level of strife?

Yes , mail of hellfire does give 15 raw but here's the thing.. with that setup it will limit you from reaching attack boost 4. with the armor mix mentioned above - you dont have mail of hellfire but you can easily get attack boost 4 and get at least 3 levels of resentment - that 3 levels of resentment is the mail of hell fire. Am I making sense? when I say "limit" - you would need a god charm or god rolls to achieve those combination of core skills.

I prefer anything over Mail of Hellfire just because of all the minus you get on defense or resistance. For me it's not worth it specially when you're doing lvl.200 anomalies. That damage boost that you get on Mail of Hellfire you can get from other sources without the penalty of defense and resistance.

Wait resuscitate doesn't proc from bloodlust?

Can anyone please tell me which one is better if Elemental RF or RF Pierce? Cause I have pretty solid builds for both and I always assume that Elemental is always better because you do more damage to the monster but when I use RF Pierce I believed that I do way more damage. I just want to know other's people experiences.

Single fire is better than Rapid fire in terms of PIERCING in elemental :) If you build for them in this armor setup you would have more flexibility since you dont need rapid fire up :)

@@MartySince87 you can use the same armor pieces. just remove the need for rapid fire up. Single fire builds would do ton more damage this time because we technically can go aim for crit element now with decent affinity (for single fire builds that is because you dont need rapid fire up )

Just save scum for qurios crafting man. It's so worth it to get what you want. You save a ton of money and can snipe skills you really want like Sneak Attack or Adrenaline. I was about to get Adrenaline 3 on the Lucent Narg arms.

Hey ang, i got higher damage using MoH 1 and coal 3.

I hate those skills that make you lose hp... it's cool for people who mastered MH and never get hit but 99% of player will never use it because most of the will just die instantly.
