an animal is not an object but a living being, are we offering you children?

Sometimes I'm wondering if some of those people are crying because they got the wrong dog and are upset.

I hate knowing that some of these poor dogs are from puppy mills. The ones that are frozen, terrified, or just unused to humans touching them. I hate the people that buy them, and wonder what life the dog is going to have if they're prepared to buy from a backyard breeder who doesn't give a damn about the health or well-being of the animals they breed.

But wouldn't buying them free them from their misery and give them a better livelihood? Sure I won't support puppy mills or breeders but having someone else care for them is better no?

@@princessjasmine4732- It’s just an unfortunate cycle which only continues if we keep buying them. Thankfully my breeder was a nice exception. They were a family farm where the puppies got to play with dogs, other animals, and children. So my beagle was well adjusted and wonderful.
