Don't recommend the Digital Edition bought one at launch and it was a mistake bought the Slim Disc Edition.

@@dericjames2018 Yeah you gotta have a disc Slim variant, for both the physical game or 4K UHD inclusions.

That slim one is better because the images look better too the contrast and colors look vibrant like better i notice. The loading time on games is like a second quicker then on the bigger ps5. And has more storage so that right there that slim is the one to go to for sure.

Im getting this one now. I loved ps2 and this is the closest ill get.

I'm not sure why the unit being unstable when it's forced down or pushed is bothering reviewers. You're not meant to be pushing or pulling or moving it, so therefore the until is stable.

It's more about stability for unforeseen incidents if anything else or OCD, whichever. It doesn't bother me as much but thats because I cut a small piece of wood to prop that part up to stabilize it.

I thought it fine. OG $400 digital edition is all gone. NO MORE. This is fairly a very small upgrade to be frank for those who DONT CARE for physical media. People are just different. It is what it is. And I know. You don’t like this and that’s respectable. I have PS5 disc and I’m envy it looks better than the disc drive. Oh well.

I bought the disc drive edition fully worth it! This console is amazing!

I remember when I used to think that they bought this with KZread revenue. Then I found out they really just get it from review companies most of the time.

Minor correction: The little plastic feet are not the same as the ones for the disc version, those are taller.

I brought the slim digital version and free spider man 2 game at Best Buy at $400 when it was on sale in march and I have series S and switch lite yes I’m cheap and I’m saying money for a low income working person

I Love to have a slimmer version of ps5 digital slim

The digital edition looks great but standard edition is what I prefer.

This is crazy- right now, you get a $150 incentive for only paying $50 more for the disc version.

Just got mine 10 days ago, just got enough money for PlayStation plus premium, and I’m getting my PS5 ready for digital only gameplay. Even though I love disc’s, I don’t like them being damaged and I’m going digital only because I love that they’re available without having a disc drive on it.

The digital ps5 slim feet are actually different from the disc version. Digital version has shorter feet. They're not exactly the same.

I have PS5 slim digital. Guys buying games is simple just link the card you use to the account.

You should do a noise comparison between the fat and slim. Install disk noise and also coil noise

i want to get this slim digital for my main ps5, and have the 5 TB ps5 seagate Hard drive attached + SSD install to max power my TB storage 💪🏼. Pushing 9 TBs in a small slim console. Super legit! up to date latest tech.

I guess you could remove the plate and optical drive and buy another plate like the digital?

If you have no drive just use one of the feet at the back.

I have a question to ask, I don’t have a ps5 yet, these days I should buy it, you recommend ps5 fat or slim? My only fear about the slim model is that it can overheat easily as the components are very close together 🤔

The stand clip-ons is for whenever you buy the disk drive and it can sit horizontally. You’re not supposed to sit this one horizontally without it. 🫤 hence why you’ve only seen it standing vertically and not horizontally without the disk drive 👀👍🏾 definitely worth it if you don’t have a PS5 yet. I just got mine yesterday and it’s great. Easier side panels to take off to add more storage and being able to take off the disk drive is hella convenient. Just saying.

No it’s not, the digital version of the slim comes with shorter stands/feet than the disc model. If it was for once you buy the disc drive they’d include the same size feet as the disc model.
