Glad you found one. Around here people think trashed non running jeeps are worth 15k or more. Looked at one couple days ago that they wanted 10k said it ran but walked away when I saw the only thing holding the driver side lca mounts to the frame was literally zip ties.

TJ guys are pretty bad here too, wanting ridiculous prices for clapped out and chopped up Jeeps. Got lucky with this one.

@@HardEarnedBacon wasn't the lower control arm, was the mounting brackets zip tied around the frame. I'll deal with blown motor or trans, frame swaps just more then I want to tackle due to space constraints.

Congratulations. That is quite a gem you found there. If it was me,when you do the rear main seal,I would replace the oil pump too. With that many miles,it would be cheap insurance.I would love to have an LJ.....😁💪👍👍

You should do DIY high line fenders. Keeps the stock fender look and will really increase that up travel. Love the build very similar to my LJ so far

👍heads up Rust-Oleum rust reformer in spray can is dollar cheaper at harbor freight than other stores are at least in my area. And the bedliner at HF in gallon does a good job when put on with roller or dabbing with a brush .

I also just bought a nearly mint condition, 100% bone stock LJ in stone white with a gray factory hard top. I too thought my fenders were faded when I saw the pictures, but in person, I noticed that they’re actually grey from the factory. Mine aren’t faded at all and look like they were meant to match the grey color of the hard top. Looking forward to your build!
