New Project "eBay EM2" gets stage 1 clutch and EPS conversion

Red and Tim work on their new project car EBay EM2. It will be a budget build using mostly parts sourced from eBay, so its easy for anyone to build something similar. We got this car for $600 and it needs some TLC after being driven for 315k miles. Pirate Garage doesn't care how many miles it has, we are going to make it fast. We replaced the slipping clutch with an eBay stage 1 clutch and the hydraulic power steering with Electric Power Steering from a civic hybrid for a smoother steering wheel and to free up 7hp.
XTD stage 1 clutch $52
EPS conversion $150

The mechanic left the power power pump in there because he wasn't able to fit a new engine belt there. Is this wrong? What can go wrong? Does it make any difference in the horse power or anything? Love the channel. I have an 01 EM2 that I'm working on doing a K-Swap and EPS conversion among other things. Probably won't go as extreme as you have though! Quick question: I went to my local junkyard to get the EPS rack, harness, and control module off an 03 Civic Hybrid and I'm having trouble pulling the harness through the firewall. I feel like I'm probably missing something obvious but it seems like you have to take the whole dash out to make enough clearance for the plugs to go through the hole. It's getting pinched by the air ducts and plastic crap back there. Any advice?
