NEW PRODUCT: De-Glazing Tool - An Introduction
Slide the de-glazing tool into the bead approximately 150mm from the corner of the window. Ensure the tool sits tight against the gasket!
(SprayWD40 or GT85 between the glass and gasket to help with tool insertion)
Now, slide the tool towards the corner of the window beads where they meet.
Pivot the black handle backwards towards the glass to pop the bead out.
Repeat this action along the bead at intervals until the whole length of bead has been loosened.
The bead can now be removed.
When removing the top and bottom beads ensure the tool is at least 12mm away from the corner of the sealed unit to prevent cracking the glass.

I was impressed the first few times I used this de-glazer. then the curved end blade started to straighten out slightly when using on some stubborn beads,, making it now difficult to use, must be manufactured from low carbon spring steel material for it not to remain in shape

If you return it to Souber Tools and it is found to be faulty a replacement will be supplied.
