The outdoor scenery is very pleasant. I am so glad to have this jackery solar generator now too. Peace of mind to have a portable endless power source for electric gadgets. Great video here, pleasant to watch. Splurged on the 100w solar panel for quicker charging when possible (home power outage or near base camp), but will use the smaller 40w panel if I need to trek on foot and carry it all in a backpack.

Very nice review. I have the 300 and the 2000 Pro, and some solar panels for each. I could use the 2000 Pro on a major camping/outdoor adventure if I HAD to, but it is more of a home emergency power source. The 300 is a good improvement over the 240, though both have pure sine wave AC output (pure sine wave is very important). The 300 is just right for so many on-the-go things. I use as many DC accessories as possible (fans, lights, even an electric blanket) as they are more efficient than AC. AC is used more for charging blocks used on laptops, camera batteries, etc., and for small mattress compressors that I only need to run briefly.

That would be handy for sure , we lose electricity a lot here on the hill though a little bigger would be good if it could run a freezer and a tv , that does look handy though

Yes they are.....larger units work great for freezers, fridges, and TV. The 300 plus is more for extra light weight mobility....where as the 1000 and 2000 are portable but pack more power for larger devices

Is this Jackery strong enough to run a fridge and freezer? I'm not sure how big of one I need. Starting to look like fall is close.

Hey Melissa.....depending on your fridge and such you would likely need a 1000 plus or 2000 plus. Most refrigerators take quite a bit of power to start the compressor and like ours uses 100-200 watts while running. If you are looking for emergencies or power outages, more than a day I would recommend going with a 1000 or larger unit
