New Porsche Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport 2022 Review, Episode 2/3: “Under the Skin”: Aero, Brake & Cooling Upgrades.
Today B-Quik Absolute Racing stripped aero parts and many trims off the brand-new car to check it over thoroughly and understand it better as well as cleaning everything.
So, this second episode follows the mechanics are they strip the Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport down, clean it and put back together while looking at many of the new and detailed upgrades made to parts such as the bumpers, front corners, rear floor and diffuser, engine floor, brake cooling and wheel arch aero.

    @@EddEllisonTh Comparing with the old 718 GT4 CS that I have and had raced for two years, without BOP the latest GT4RS CS is way more powerful thanks to the 4.0 engine which makes great noise! Also the new aero design makes quite a lot difference. The car is more stable thru mid or high speed turns.

    I have watched all three GT4RS Clubsport videos but I haven't learnt much about how good a car it is. You say it is a "pretty cool car" and a "little bit special." You say it has a 4.0 litre engine instead of the previous "3.6" one, when I thought the previous engine was the 3.8 one( from the Carrera). In GT4 racing in Europe, the GT4RS hasn't done too well - it seems swamped by Mercs and Audis and other brands. So, how much better is it than the previous Clubsport and what exactly makes it special?

    I have to admit, it's very fascinating to learn about the inner workings of the new Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport. Also, I'm looking forward to the shakedown test episode.^^

    It's quite normal for motorsport, these parts will also fly through gravel beds, hit tyre walls, scrape against other cars, etc, and be constantly part rewrapped during the season to cover all the scuffs.
