According to a recent Sportauto test it is actually not faster... But in the end, they both are the best driver's cars below a GT3 or $200000 cars. Now if they would only give us all the 350 horses in the 3.4l or even the 3.8l... Ruf can do it ;)

What if Porsche introduced a new 356? Rear engine like the 911, about Cayman size, price 35 to 50 grand, power 200 to 300 hp, coupe & drop top... :D

I note that the PDK is often mentioned but the test driver uses a manual. Also, unlike the 918 or tesla, this advanced car still needs refined dinosaur juice.

I hope in the future they will do a Cayman Turbo with a 4cyl boxer with twinturbo and 350hp, would be awesome!

There should be a 'race' exhaust button "only to be used on tracks ;)" that would recreate the sound and intensity of older times when we lived in countries free from non-elected EU eco-talibans regulating everything in open violation of national constitutions. In the US and Japan exhaust noise is less restricted.

Please indicate where this car is 50% more efficient than the predecessor. If it is about the fuel efficiency, mpg etc: great! Otherwise that just sounds like a superfluous exaggeration.

Hold on to your Carreras. The Cayman is the future of Porsche. Hold on to your manual transmission 911's too. I really like the Cayman. Just saying... four or five years from now and the 911 will not be produced anymore.
