Hello MFJJ, greetings from Central Virginia. I just want to let you know how much I enjoy your videos. I have learned so much from you. I am 73 years old and I’ve been shooting for about 3 years. Call me a late bloomer. I taught alpine snow skiing for 18 years until my body said, “That’s enough! Go do something else!” So I took up archery. I shoot as often as I can. Keep up the great work. If I every make it out your way, I would enjoy meeting you. Cheers!

Hey MFJJ I've personally gon into your shop and told your employees how much I appreciate your mostly unbiased reviews of all products. I do realize you need to keep your companies happy but your still not afraid to to criticize any particular company. I feel your reviews have helped me build my current bow.

I install my components the same way you do, with the exception of how i get my field point back out after the glue sets. If you coat the field point shank in a light coat of string wax or shoe polish, ect (any type of release agent) the glue wont adhere to the point at all and u can easily screw the point back out with zero hassle. Maybe its something that will help you out…thanks for the great videos.

I'm hoping you're making a full titanium kit for a Mathews. I've been piecing one together for the last 3-4 months and its a PIA to source the correct screws or even find info without a trip or 2 to the hardware store with a pen and pad. I should have kept track on how much weight I've already saved. Pretty much Axles, Axle screws, and limb bolts are the only thing on my bow currently not swapped to titanium. Currently about to tackle the landslyde hardware.

A heavier titanium HIT. They are longer than equal weight stainless and will support the shaft further away from the point. Ethics makes them already. I enjoy MFJJ's content and support him when i can.

These look pretty compelling. Would love to see an impact test with these going head to head with other collared systems. Say, for example, the Ethics system? Also, would love to see the same product in a much longer insert to really reinforce the front end of the arrow.

To be clear - would love to see a longer Ti insert - reinforcing the front end while still staying lighter. Ethics inserts are great - but to have a long insert for durability you've got a very heavy insert.

I have heard some people asking for a half-outs system for .245-.246 arrows I switched my arrow size from 6mm-6.5mm to 4mm because of that reason I think a lot of people switch to 4mm or 5mm solely because of the half-out systems and outsert systems are only offered for those 2 sizes just some ideas and the reason for them other than that I dig the new components the system looks really good

It matters all around the world, mate! I'm subscribed to all the channels of you and the other lads! I've learned so much, and with that knowledge I've gained confidence in working on my own bow. (After I purchased a press, vice, etc etc) Tearing the bow down to fix limb misplacement scared the crap out of me, btw!!! But my bow now actually shoots Just built 12 RIP TKOs (first time building my own custom arrows.) I just wish international postage from the USA to Australia wasn't so expensive, slow and prone to loss! Anyway Keep up the excellent videos and the good work of spreading the knowledge! I think you have really good ideas. I’m interested in a lightweight collar for my Axis 5mms. I have a 31” draw so my arrows are on the heavy side with a 125gr BH at 520gr. and want to reenforce the business end of my arrow without adding much more weight. The titanium seems to be the perfect solution.

What you're doing 100% matters to me! I am only 3 years into archery and because of this channel I am working on my own equipment and even starting to work on friends equipment that have been shooting for decades and never learned. Because of you I have the knowledge and confidence to do most anything I need to do. So thank you for caring enough to teach us all!

I might have to give that iron will hot melt a try on the next batch of rip tkos i get, i've try just about every glue on the market and the only one that ever really stuck on a victory arrow was bob smith ic 2000 rubberized. But those inserts look awesome and im sure they are going to sell like hot cakes...because everyone knows that a hit with a collar is the most bomb proof component you can put on a arrow. Also we are all still waiting for your hooter shooter and laser beam video.

A standard Easton HIT is 16 gr. Paired with a VPA aluminum collar, they call footer, that's 10 gr, it's 26 gr total which gets close to this 22 gr titanium option. I realize titanium is stronger, but I've never had an aluminum HIT bend or break. The insert itself has never failed. The glue and epoxy has failed, but not the insert. I made up a batch of arrows with the standard HIT and used VPA aluminum footers. I've hit rebar in 3D targets, glanced off rocks, stuck trees and 2x4s. The only failure I experienced was the glue. Arrows and components were still in tact. This is indeed an awesome new component system, but I've never understood the dislike people have for the standard HIT inserts. I've used the HITs since the FMJs first came out and broke a lot of arrows along the way and again, not one HIT insert has ever failed me. Just my 2 cents

This is awesome! Question on collars - I noticed the RIP XV 300 (OD 0.255) calls for collar H (0.263). Wouldn't it be better from a squaring/alignment perspective to get the size D (0.254) and lightly sand down the tip of your arrow? Also - impressed with the price points. You'll be selling piles of these.

This might sound kinda weird but what about steel inserts for .245 arrows I love the .245 size for durability and price, you usually can get a dozen for 90 dollars or less. There are only a couple of companies that make steel inserts for standard diameter arrows and I think they can be made lighter and better if you do it.

Why do you use a wrist strap? Doesn't it add pressure to the bow? Is there really a difference in flight between a small diameter arrow and a standard arrow? Has anyone actually conducted a test in a crosswind situation and measured the difference using the same components just a different size arrow.. Say shooting in a calm environment (garage) out into a moderate crosswind and actually measured the difference say at 60 yds.
