I like to think something like this is what Claire and Owen would've done after the events of Dominion. Gone back to the cabin and the ranch, and expanded their facilities, presumably with help from the DFW and the reformed Biosyn, now under new management. Turn the ranch into an expansive rehab facility for dinosaurs collected from around the region until they could be collected by the DFW and shipped off to Biosyn Valley or some other sanctuary. Feel like it would make sense as they probably feel a sense of responsibility for the events at Jurassic World and for releasing the dinosaurs from Lockwood Manor. Also I imagine having a pair of Velociraptors living in the surrounding area is a nice extra layer of defence from would-be dinosaur rustlers trying to sneak in.

I really hope they make the rustlers an option in the sandbox mode parks. I’m personally hoping for a lot more immersive mechanics like these for this game.

What I did to help cut down on poachers is to really fortify up the place with natural boundaries and put down three response teams. One at the far end, the original one at the start of the game, and one in the center along the hilly section. Those rustlers seem to follow the same rules as your jeeps. So build natural barriers that would be impossible for you to drive though and add the security cams to track who is where.

In the dominion dlc you can drive through forested parts easily. Not having that here makes ramming them an extremely annoying mechanic to stop poachers.

The rustlers are just frustrating. You ram them going 100 and it doesn't take them out, and ramming is the only option I've seen. They clip through "forest" areas while you're forced to slam on your brakes. A neat idea that seems poorly implemented.

Era variants of these structures would be sick, specially the watchtower.

The reason you have limited fence in this mode is because you could trivialise the rustler mechanic by just filling in areas with fences. Right at the start they told you to use them to funnel the rustlers to certain locations (for example) and anyone that is familiar with TD games knows that building lots of layers of fence, and using funnelling is key to success.

You really should add multiple layers of fences, and also make a tunnel with fences that they have to follow to get to your enclosures. I play a lot of TD games, and it seems like that kind of logic. make them go down never ending, winding corridors to get to the paddocks, then have like 3 or 4 deep fences they have to get through to get into the paddocks.

I love how Cabbot has basically been demoted to Claire's yes man at this point

Ironically, Dino rustling is kinda what Claire did in the beginning of JWD

I think the Gallimius and Parasaurolophus actually like each other, so I think you should probably consider if you should relocate them or not.

The Owen Grady voice sounds better now that he doesn't make quips the whole time, like in the previous campaign.

I love JWE2 but gotta say i always hate the mandatory manual driving sections

Would be nice if frontier added sentry turrets like what JPOG had? But instead of targeting specific animals it targets Rustlers instead. I know kids are playing this. But just landmines isn't enough. Also do you have to manually drive a Ranger Vehicle just to get rid of them? That can be a problem if it isn't automatic.

I was hoping the chaos theory would be more like the other ones because I know I’m going to be really annoyed at these new mechanics, like they are cool and all but it’s just not what I wanted from the chaos theory, I absolutely loved the Jurassic worl one and seeing this one I don’t really want to play it that much.

Like it’s going to feel like the Isla sonar one where you just capture dinosaurs and then send them away with no trying to reach 5 stars which defeats the point of the chaos theory for me

pretty sure they added a feature where everything is unlocked in sandbox as long as you complete the mission.....I thinkkkk????? I remember hearing something about everything being already unlocked in sandbox after you beat the missions (campaigns and chaos theories)

The problem with this dlc and the others. It's that they have changed some things, but the interactions with the game and the dinosaurs is the same thing. They could be better.

I cannot understand why Frontier doesn't provide the guns and bullets... I know that guns and bullets are useful tool to maintain law and security...

Wait. So this was supposed to be in the game launch, but due to movie being pushed back, they took out dominion and still launched the game? Now they want more money to get what was supposed to be in game anyway?
