Our New Lemken Juwel 8 arrives on farm! Is it too heavy for the New Holland tractor?
My name is Crawford and I’m a farmer.
Being a farmer is more than a job; it’s a way of life. The good days can involve bringing new life onto the farm or sunny days outdoors whilst on others it's dealing with machinery breakdowns and on the worst days, sometimes animal deaths.
Farming can be isolating at times - away from the busy streets and city life - so this platform brings you closer to the inner workings showing the highs and lows and everything in between.
I hope to bring some context to how the food ends up on your plate, from your Sunday roasts to morning porridge and even the tulips on your kitchen table. Hopefully a bit of agricultural education along the way.
This video captures the latest goings on including crop management and our efforts to increase sustainability and reducing our carbon footprint.

Just a thought for your beavertail trailer... A man of your calibre with a welder could manufacture a wedge to sit on the beavertail and turn it into a good flat bale trailer. It might be a cheaper option. Great videos. Good to see what the good farmers down the road are up to👌💪👍

If you spray a little diesel over the road chopping it reactivates the tar and it sticks better, run over it a few times while it's still sticky with a roller if you can or just big machinery

Talk a cow that is more easy to jump over, then walk all the way around her. Herd looking real good.
Might be worth getting a second hand wacker plate for compacting the planings you put in the pot holes

We use a box grader we also sell them look at Oxdale products great for maintaining roads and car parks
Good looking plough but I think a new shovel is needed before the next pot hole filling section

I think you should have used 5 or6 mm wall box steel for the main frame of the stone grape. Would have given you more weight on the front of the tractor and would have been much stronger. Nice plough shame you didnt get the cheaper KV one, I'm pretty sure your dealer could have sourced one somewhere in the country.

You need a HUE reg for your defender
Hi Crawford did you ever consider a box blade with scarifier for the car park run over it once a month keeps top layer loose and looks even all over. By the way I love the number plate on the defender!
