No no no Alive is a song from rock band that just travel around the world and sometimes ACSIDENTIALLY gets involved in Doctor deals. They are not operators, but they appear in events of Euneticks, Ejyafyajla, Gavial, Mudrock, Chenalter. Total around 4 or 5 events.

They also appear in the Under Tides event (seaborn event in the Intermezzi tab), which is probably the event where they have the most screen time (Also in the Obsidian Festival where they are one of the three bands you can pick to play the lobby theme alongside Emperor and DDD).

First song character is Ethan. Requiem is Frostnova and “her father” Patriot

Ohhh, Ethan! So that’s who it was. I actually think I recorded this before I finished chapter 6, so this is a good refresher about her father.

Fun fact: the lyrics to the song "Requiem" are adapted from a poem of the same name by Anna Akhmatova, talking about the horrors she saw during the era of the Great Purge when Stalin was consolidating power in Russia

Oh gosh, that sounds like a terrifying experience! It's somehow very beautiful that they adapted the lyrics from a poem though.

W has two songs, "Renegade" and after certain events, "Arsonist" ... and believe me, the second one suits her much better

@@Trailblazer_Ririna aye, they are a group of returning NPCs. Fun trivia - it's kinda noted that AUS is a nod to Dead by Sunrise, a band founded by the late Chester Bennington (lead vocal for Linkin Park). AUS is Monster Siren Records tribute to the Chester and homage to Linkin Park

6:42 yes he is acting but the details are in integrated strategies #2 (the roguelite-mode), so i cant explain further without spoilers 11:25 i think she cant be figured out even if she was to tell you. cause you cant tell if she lies right now 17:20 that's weedy, a push stroker specialist that can yeet enemies over the whole map. she is supposed to be a seahorse. she works as a hydromechanic because of which they use the metallic clanking, that resembles water pipes 30:00 this is the Iberian rock band "Alive Until Sunset" (AUS) and none of them is playable, even though we know them since obsidian festival in year 1. there could be a skin close to the singers costume. maybe vigna.

Technically Weedy's based off of a sea dragon, not a sea horse, minor difference as sea horses do not have the leafy appendages that are present in Weedy's art, whereas sea dragons do (also her name is reference to the most common seadragon name which is the weedy seadragon).

Reqviem is a song about FrostNova and Patriot. Its weitten in russian because they are ursus of course, but singer from Poland so its really hard to understand even for russians(

El Brillo Solitario is Spanish. the character in the EP, Thorns, is from Iberia which is based on Spain and Portugal from when they were a major naval power. the name is Spanish from The Lonely Shine.

3:52 ==> This is Eathan and he is a Specialist, with 0 Block and Subclass Ambusher. With module he slows enemies within his field. His S1 (skill one) does arts DoT (Damage over time) and his S2 (Skill two) binds the enemies. 5:22 ==> Phantom, as his name already indicates is based upon the opera "Phantom of the Opera". I had heard about Vivaldi several times among lots of classical. He has a 'double' you can place as 2nd operator upon the field. ;) He appears in IS2 (Integrated Strategies 2) 14:09 ==> Totally right with FrostNova! You will get to know the person behind FrostNova later on. 17:32 ==> That is Weedy the still best Specialist 'Pusher' one can get. And it's Sparkling Hydraulics, since what she is sitting on is the Water Pressure 'weapon' she is using to 'push' the enemies with. 23:13 ==> I'll always like to dance with you. ^^ 25:43 ==> That's the Single blocker Defender, and only with S3 active she can block 3! Thought he damage with the S3 is fun. Still needs Module to make her use lots more. And yeah, she has no fear and knows what direction you want to go. 30:26 ==> You had the non vocal version in your Part 1 of EP and belongs to the "Obsidian Festival' and this is a singer group that was as well there. Also she has another reason to feel alive than you think of. ;person I as well appreciate your opinions and love your stream, so until next time then! ^^ My favorite of these was ALIVE.

Thank you for explaining about the operators’ specialties and skills! Makes me want some of them now, especially Weedy. I guess I still have a long way to go before I can remember most of the operators 🤣 but I’m glad that I was right about FrostNova! Yay for progress! Haha

Eunetics song must be compared with song of her conterpart Gavial the savior. But her song most likely will be faaaar later)

I love these Arknights music reactions! Curtain Call is Phantom's leitmotif and Sparkling Hydraulics is the leitmotif of Weedy. She's a 6 star push specialist and her design is based on a leafy sea dragon.

The Alive song does play in-game btw tho it is an instrumental version (basically any time you fight the Big Ugly Thing) during the Great Chief Returns event. As far as the lyrics go, imo they don't actually have much relation to the story, beyond maybe representing the way that Eunectes (snake lady in the Evolutionary Mechanization EP) looks at Gavial (MC of the Great Chief Returns event), tho I won't go any further then that due to spoilers.

In case Renegade's lyrics didn't make it clear, W is, in fact, a recruitable Operator. However, she's a Limited unit, which means the opportunity to get your hands on her will only come up every half-year or so, along with several especially good alters (Like Nearl the Radiant Knight and Gavial the Invincible) and the Sui family of dragonkin (who show up during the Chinese New Year event).

Cool fact about Alive Until Sunset is that it's a reference to Dead by Sunrise, a collaboration project created by lead singer of Linking Park. The name is exact opposite and just like LP/DBS, AUS never uses swear words in their lyrics.

Oooo, so that's what it was. I feel like I remember someone telling me this so I guess it was about this! haha Thank you!

1st character is Ethan, he is a former Reunion member, but he got out. He was friends with that one jetpack enemy that fell down the hole in Annihilation 3 that you can see in Ethan's Operator record. He also appears in the Ceobe anime. 2nd character is Phantom. His story is revealed in IS2 and his tragic backstory needs some digging to get all of it. If you want a summary I can spoil it for you. You know who W is. But did you know that when Haimao worked in Girl's Frontline, he made a W prototype character there. 4th is Frostnova and Patriot. I don't have much to say about them other than I want to see how strong Patriot was in his prime. 5th is Weedy, she is the strongest pusher in AK and she is very hygienic. She is the type to disinfect everything before she uses it. She is also the one who cleans up after Closure who is a naturally messy person. 6th Thorns, he has his own story segment in IS3 and when he does research, it usually explodes which Weedy finds annoying to clean up. He is very simple to use just put him and then activate his skills twice. Very good on maps with a lot of enemies to charge up his skill. 7th is Eunectes, she is a snek lady who loves technology so much she wants to marry Lancet-2 and she is Closure's apprentice. Her S3 switch her out with her Boss mech which deals AoE damage, have busted stats, and regens a lot of health every second. Very clunky to use because she only generates SP when she is blocking unless you get her module. 8th is AUS, and you get their lore in Stultivera Navis at the end which explains what they really are.
