Yea I agree Tiamat is not easy to play at all. I see masters players struggle to play her let alone new players. I hope he explains more on stream because I don’t understand it

@@jaxonroy3126 I onlt disagree because it’s more than normal ability’s you need to understand, her positioning is not easy and her main clear ability is not an easy ability to hit for even good players. A newbie god to me is a god with super simple to learn ability’s and easy to hit. Not one with 12 abilities and a channel that does her main damage

​@tylerford8843 tiamat can be very easy if u run what venenu has been dropping on yt which is either book tablet and then depending on if your being dove a breastplate on tia and then your nearly unkillable since ground stance u have mitigations and the breastplast and if u need more alternate timeline

Wukong was my first god i really got into as a new player and im so glad. Hes just got everything you really need to be safe and he hits decently hard

Morgan Le Fay is so busted. I dont know how anyone at Hirez thought it was okay to put that much cc into one gods kit, especially a damage dealing mage and not a guardian.

I mean she doesn't even have the most cc in a kit. Danza has cc on all 4 abilities 2 soft 2 hard, Hou yi has cc on all his abilities except his 2 which gives his 1 and 3 cc. She really only has 2 hard 1 soft cc and the hard and soft are on 1 skill so same cd. What makes her annoying is the early game poke with her clone.

@MychalDAndrea She has like 3 second cool downs, use maxed beads and magis to spam harder. Danza and Hou yi have a lot of cc but long cooldowns compared to her.

I think for newer players, the best way is to have fun and not worry too much about builds, comps and mechanics. Those things come when you play many games. Especially those who haven't played 3rd pov MOBA. I am mid laner and for me my recommended gods for noobs are: 1)Kukulkan- best clear in the game, easy kit and crazy burst potential with ult. 2) Poseidon- fun mage which you can simply play for the ult and learn about positioning. 3) Discordia- annoying style of play which is super fun and once again big ult that can change a team fight. 4) Agni- spam your ult and watch them burn. easy peasy The ones which are recommended in this video Tiamat and Morgan are mechanically difficult to pickup and while they do loads of damage, it takes time to get it online. Smite can be overwhelming if you dont pick the right god to start and just die without effecting the game.

Could you do video on making calls and using the map better? I struggle with tunnel vision still and I'm sure a lot of people do too. Thanks for the videos though, Ive learned a lot just from watching you play keep it up bossman.

I also think fenrir would be a good one here. It's abilities are not that hard to learn, you just need to learn which enemy god abilities cancel your brutalize and how to use runes efficiently.

I have taken a break from Smite for about 2 years. I have around 1k hours on console. I recently switched to PC and just started playing again. It sucks being on a new account but its pretty fun being in new player lobbys. Thanks for this video Weak3n, its going to give me a better direction of the more simple gods to use while i get used to mnk. :)

1000% agree to start with Geb/Athena for guardians. Was kinda thrown off by the Tiamat pick at first but honestly agree it would be a great mage starter. Takes a bit more time to get down due to the extra abilities but none of them are super complicated and she has the option to take "in your face" fights much better than most mages.

shiva is the best solo for new players. Easy abilities to hit, great aoe, provides to good set up.

Don’t quote me on this but imo new players should also try learning Nemesis since you can play her at solo lane or Jungle and she performs pretty good her Ult steals enemy protections and her shield ability regens the dmg it takes as HP so you can dash in there slow with your other ability and if your gonna take heavy dmg pop that shield and get out and the ultimate can be used as an engagement since it doesn’t do dmg

Gods don't change from controller to mouse and keyboard. Some are easier, but that's basically anything with big/coke abilities, so it's easier to hit

Imo easiest gods to pick up for each class Assassin: fenrir, easy to understand abilities and overall goal Hunter:Cupid,can teach about support abilities a little Warrior:Bellona,straightforward tbh like any cover girl character Guardian:ares or kuzenbo,both are great and easy to understand support Mage:kukulkan or poseidon for sure, u just cast abilities with them

I have a really hard time playing kali and sticking to people because I don't have any fine motor skills. I have a really hard time with people circleing me, because I can only aa with the trigger or use the right stick to turn.

Auto attack Surtur is.. something, I only tried it once in casuals, (conquest) I would do ranked but scared my Internet would go out. Basically im a pure casuals player. Yesterday i couldn't win anything.

Hades is probably the number 1 easiest god to play in the game. Poseidon is also easier than Tiamat. We saw that like 500 elo kid use hades and how easy that god is to play.

Bro, tiamat is the worst suggestion to any new player. There are much easier gods like Nu wa, Kuku, poseidon, vulcan, agni.

Hunter list is spot on but rest of the suggestions appear to simply be based on whats doing top damage in the meta or what can do max damage. I wont recommended a new player to play Tiamat for starters and Ravan is only good in hands who know how to play the assasin role. This list needs rework massivel.y

Not gonna lie first God I picked up was baron, and mobility aside i feel like he's extremely simple to play as well. You have a slow into a stun, a bit of life steal, and a hard-hitting wave clear. If your ever in big trouble just retreat to tower and use alt to pull them in. In my opinion the mobility is the only downside, you can be ganked pretty easily. As long as you have wards it should be a breeze.

I would change out Morgan and Tia for Zeus and Scylla. Because their skill shots are circles and easy to hit in general, and you can build bad and still do decent damage

Im not so sure about the tiamat, too many abilities for newer people to keep track of and think about, maybe tias good for a more intermediate player. And i agree that nike is easy to play, but the only issue is the wall ability. People just hold it up and get farmed, i see it all the time. Id say chaac would probably be more beginner friendly, he has good clear, super tanky, helps you stay in lane with his heal and passive, and he has giant circle abilities that you almost cant miss. Anti heal hurts him really bad, but new playerd always have bad builds, or just copy paste a build without thinking

Martichoras can literally sit tower and clear all game without losing any gold to tower….get in trouble you just pop your ult…and his 2-1 combo hits like a truck. Newbies can win with him without even learning what his 3 even does lol

Bruh the “Athena is for new players and easy to play” propaganda gotta go. TLDR: Character does too little and requires too much advanced game sense to be noob friendly. Bacchus is better. The character’s only strength is being able to be where the other support physically can’t be, and in lower level one of 3 things happens: 1) 9 people are afraid to fight each other and 6 people are sitting in mid, so there is no one to ult profitably; 2) 9 people permafight so your ult has too many targest, and no matter where you go the other teammates are going to lose the fight; 3) Fights are good but the Athena player is new so she doesn’t actually ult where she needs to be to win the good fights. Then 30 min comes and Athena is a character with a single CC on a 20 year cooldown, i.e. in the fight that actually matters the team with Athena has one shot at winning the game, which is wasted 99% of the time. Instead, look at Bacchus: + Flop in a flexible tool, can be used to both engage and run away, whatever the situation demands; + Burp stuns. Stun = gud; + Ult does big damage, can either get kills or get teammates’ brains to turn on since the person in front of them is low; + Passive gives power so most lanes are autowon since Bacchus hits harder; + Iroh skin for all the weaboos out there. - No CC immunity, which is easily fixed with magi’s or even beads if absolutely necessary; - Long cripples make life hard, but if they are countering the support, teammates might do teammate things (copium).

I think you are miss understanding ease of use and ability to carry. Athena's job as a support is INSANELY easy. You go in and press 2 when your team is behind you. That's your entire job.

@@Weak3n I won’t argue the ‘pressing 2 in front of your bois’ part, but I will argue the ‘entire job’ part. After pressing 2 you have to be able to do other things, e.g. ult the back liner who is being dove in response to you pressing 2, pressing shell, dashing the divers, bodyblocking, etc. This part requires game sense which newer players most likely won’t have. Not being able to ‘carry’ would thus lead to lost games, dissatisfaction with the game and lack of motivation to improve and play harder characters, which Athena is one of imho. While in my Bacchus example, if you engage with flop in front of your boys (just like Athena with 2), your kit allows you to do other things to the person you have flopped (sunder, ult, stun; compare to Athena’s slow IF she has it). I would then argue that having more impact with your character results in more W’s, enjoyment of the game, more motivation to keep playing and try new and more challenging characters.
