Hopefully they'll add in a locking the vehicles securely w/ chains or straps IRL to keep vehicles from coming loose as well as being able to pivot when it makes tight turns.

I would think that you need another option to widen the wheel catchers to allow for wider wheel bases on larger trucks

That towing plattform is actually a thing i had my car towed by one of these things once after it broke down The only difference is it didnt fall of immediately when the tow truck driver backed up into an auto repair shop with it

Can You use winch to secure the car that you are towing on that platform?

That's what i was thinking. Also maybe the truck will be secured with something similiar to when you pack a truck on a trailer.

If this thing is real then all the hidden trucks should be damaged when you find them. That way it would actually be fun to play tow truck driver.

Why not just add a regular hook towing addon instead of some weird inventions?

The need to make it where it turns on the boom/ramp so the trucks don't fall of

Still a WIP so I can understand. But this reminds me of the iX 3880 wrecker with the rotator lift axle. It works but just like here, trucks would fall off the axle.

Lucky me I was able to. Used it to drag the Transtar to my Smithville garage. And then the Derry 3194 to my White Bay garage.

Increase the turning radius of the truck. Very cool though.

Two things. 1. The rear mount should swivle like a trailer to aid in turning. 2. A rear mount boom like a normal wrecker would be better.

Normally the lift need to extand to make it free for turning.

Glad its a work in progress cause thats a joke. But Im glad they working on a towing System. It would be cool if that towing thing swings with the truck on curves

This mechanism should take towed car up to the back wheels in hard lock, keep front turnable free

Bruh it didn't even made through the first turn but they're probably gonna fix that

I really tried to play this game the way it was intended to be played. The game isn't very clear at all about what to do or where to go during missions at times. So that, coupled with my best and only 4x4 big rig just magically disappearing I broke down and did a money glitch. And now that I have plenty of money and mods, this game is sooooo damn fun! I can buy whatever trucks I need to do the jobs in game. And unlock more maps. I honestly was finding the game kinda boring at times before. But now I've been having a field day lol. I did play "mudrunner" and completed every mission in the game without having mods. I don't know if they've added console mods to mudrunner or not yet. I've not played it since snowrunner released. Long story short, I would not be playing this game or ever felt like I got my money's worth out of it without the mods. I never use mods in a game until I've finished it once without using them. But with snowrunner it's a must if you want a next level mudding and offroading experience. Stay muddy my friends! 😁👍

I've played a vanilla version of the game and had great success. You do not need mods to enjoy this game. All mods do is change the way the game is played to make it easier.

Can someone help me out? So with the trailers are you only allowed to carry one at a time. So when it it says like 3x medium logs to this location does that mean 3 separate trips?

Use a regular trailer and stack 9 logs in it. (You need three logs per load) You'll probably need a long trailer, and make sure you don't bounce them out when driving to your final location. Make sure there is a log trailer at the final location with a log crane, and move the logs from the regular trailer into the log trailer. Pack, and deliver. Repeat three times. Done. One trip and done.

It looks cool, but it probably won't be very usefull for me. Currently it's very unstable and the towed truck falls off all the time. Also it's too small to tow large vehicles

Pick it up using the rear tires so the front can still steer

Even if you can lock the vehicle to the ramp, the fork still looks too small to fit some regulat trucks like Tayga, let alone Kolobs. I don't see a reason why should I tow scouts with heavy towing truck.

Are they going to address the problem where ya have to reload the game every time you go to load a truck because the “cargo management “ button hasn’t popped up?

Eh, still seems like just craning the truck onto a flatbed and packing it is the better option.

if it locks the towed truck correctly then it will be better than towing using winch as you can winch while still having truck in tow and do not have to release it in order to winch through rough terrain. But still seems WIP, it should be able to widen the fork, also in locked position it should keep the wheels on ground rotating freely.

#1 winch is more practical. How this would work going over even a small dich or hill? #2 adding double winch and pull/forward would be even more usefull #3 if its that bad with a fully functional small scout..how terrible it must be towing totally broken fullsize truck #4 if its truck specific addon... If you force us thru quests to use it, thats probably only time some one will use it..also why would i if there is recover button

it might be more useful for hard mode playthrough. We need to see how it is when completed, if no locking, then pointless... Yes, would be nice if you could winch with towed truck and it not releasing when you change truck as long as towed truck has either autonomous winch or engine running and then use winch on towing truck as regular. It needs to have possibility to extend the fork. The concept of it is nice, would still like to see it in working state before claiming it to be useless.
