Norman whitlock I test drove the New 208 GT Line 130 ps it drove beautifully and it’s the same box, I could not test drive the 2008 as it had not yet arrived on British roads only showroom model, you could not even feel the gear changes, much better than the old 2008 with the EAT6 which I had previously. You have to remember these reviewers are biased depending who’s paying them, they are not spending their own money like the average man in the street, I’m not paid by anyone and spend my own money, and I’ve brought Peugeot since the 208 GTi in 2013, after that I had the 2008 EAT6 that box was not the best but was ok, then I had the new 3008 GT Line with manual box, car was a ok but I missed an automatic box, this is a car I’m really looking forward to getting.

@@lordd31 I drove this car again yesterday and will upload long night POV drive with ambient lighting and there you will aslo be able to see how smooth the changes are. In general I am not a fan of automatic transmissions, but this one on 2008 is very good and performs well in combination with 130 HP diesel

I wish they had more colour options for the interior, i wish it could be made full white or at least be black and white. Thats my only deal breaker with this overall nice interior.

Interior is crap on the seat though. More colour option on outside could happen.

I love what Peugeot have done with their design. They’ve always been really strong with engine and drivetrain, but the design and build was always a bit half hearted. They have really come around 360! Amazing quality now and still a very strong engine/gearbox line up. Well done, Peugeot! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

You don’t need to turn the handbrake off when starting, simply just drive away. Likewise when you park, just turn the engine off and gearbox will go into park itself and handbrake will also activate.

Is it possible to changing the color of the ambient lighting? Does it have a park assistant? I'm 188 cm tall, so I was thinking about Peugeot 3008, but this Peugeot 2008 looks really great. Sporty, predatory, but really elegant. I should not be ashamed of that. Is there a lot of space on front seat? Because I'm so tall and because I have to have my legs stretch out while driving (seat as far back as possible), I'm a little worried that someone will be able to sit behind me. And what about night driving? You wrote that there will be a video of the night drive. well thank you

Hello, it’s possible to change the ambient lighting but I didn’t find it as I had the car for very short time (but in the comments one of the future owners confirmed it’s possible) I am 187 cm tall so very similar - I feel very comfortable at the front and average passenger can sit behind me but have in mind that I love sitting a bit closer to the streeting wheel so have that in mind and try it in person to see how it’s for you. Speaking of the night drive - one video is already out and second video (pure driving at night, no talking) is coming out in s few days so stay tuned for that. Hvala na komentaru 😀 Ovo je bio dizel sa 130ks i imao sam ga samo kratko, ali potrosnja je oko 6 litara u prosjeku. A sto se tice benzinca 130 kolko znam citao sam da je na jednom testu bila oko 7,7 litara potrosnja tak da vjerujem da se tako oko 8 krece ali najbolje isprobat to kracom test voznjom 😀 koji paket i boja se planiraju? Poz

Do you find that you are able to achieve a comfortable driving position which allows you to see the i-cockpit over the wheel? If the camera was below eye level, that suggests that you could see all the i-cockpit?

hello mate, the transmission is EAT8, known from PSA group. Here is the info I managed to find: The very latest generation of EAT8 automatic gearbox, “Efficient Automatic Transmission” with Shift and Park by wire control offers even more efficiency and comfort to your daily journeys: • An improvement in fuel consumption, which has been reduced by up to 7%, compared to the EAT6 gearbox thanks to the two additional gears. • Improved efficiency thanks to the addition of the Stop & Start function which operates up to 20 km/h and weight savings of up to 2 kg compared to the EAT6. • The two additional gears provide smoother gear shifting by reducing the time between gear changes thanks to improved torque exchanges between the engine and the gearbox.

@@GeorgeToader so here on my market is says that the GT Line trim has FULL LED LIGHTS and adaptive fog lights....hmm Which city are you from? Here in Croatia we don't have many chargers so E-2008 will not be a good seller here

@@crospotter13 bucharest. The fog lights are adaptive, so when you steer right or left, the right or left fog lamp will turn on. In Romania we have a lot of ev-chargers, especially in the big city's.But you can manage to cross the all country if you make a good planning of your trip.

Hello mate! Nicee, great choice ✌️😀 Suspension feels good, as it’s the same platform as 208 it drives very well. EAT8 is smooth, and speaking of the engine it’s classic diesel sound 😅 Acceleration with this 130 HP one is really solid. But for this car petrol could also be a good choice. Which one would you go for? Also which spec would you take?

​@@crospotter13 Same you tested in the video: GT line (but white pearl color) diesel 130 HP with EAT8. The choise it's beacause my 22.000 km/year. I had the opportunity to try the car but only in petrol 130 HP version, so i wonder if the diesel was the same so good in terms of torque feeling.

Well yeah should be even better in terms of torque as it has 250 Nm, 20 more compared to 130 HP petrol one So you should be good, and considering the mileage diesel seems like a version to go for:)
