this perk is cool has so much potential to open up more playstyles for lock, but I just really wish they would tweak the debuff so its not such a massive nerf. or at least add more perks to offset the magic healing negation because its kinda just a meme subclass at the moment..

You have to run Cleric with Smite and Divine Strike to get the most out of the torches

Just no... smite is the only mechanic that pairs with the 10 torch damage. Good luck accepting head shots and or people running outside a 5 meter range for that shitty spell.

I really thought it was gonna be viable compared to regular warlock but your going from 20% to maybe 45% pdr. The massive slowdown and inability to heal from warlock spells is bad enough, but getting 4hp from potion is rough

Did they change the issue where HP pots only heal like 5 due to the demon armor 75% decrease on healing (yes it affects pots and healing shrines)

That's not an "issue" it's a feature. Magic healing is reduced by 75%, healing shrines and potions are considered magic healing, so are cleric heals and warlock healing. It's a way for them to balance a caster class that has boc and can do ridiculous 200+ damage on one swing with huge mdr and the ability to wear plate armor. If you could heal like normal as a warlock and use plate armor you would be nigh invincible. Just proc someone with a couple curses and have 70%+ pdr with the new dark plate that gives huge mdr and nobody will kill you.

No its kinda not, yeah pots suck but your undeniably the best 1v1 melee class when fighting toe to toe, yes even over barb in my opinion, you just have a much bigger focus on bandages and campfires instead of pots and shrines

​@intel_revenant8795 na it's terrible, you can't be healed by clerics either, making you a terrible group class as well, and you will be kited forever. Jay's the only one I seen make this kinda work and he still died almost every run

@@Sam-dt1kg Its barely even "ok" in solos pal, 1v1 a ranger or a anyone with range equipped and you got the tides turn on ya, not that you dont have range but the punish of of taking damage is 3 times worst than before. We have to win round 1 because if there's a round 2 or kiting for them to heal up again, they will have faster preparation than us and that means most likely were fucked.

So does life drain count as magical healing to?

Yes, all spell healing is magic healing, as are healing potions, healing shrines and cleric heals.

Guys I feel like it's been a couple of second since rogue got nerfed. Get on it Iron mace, chop chop!! He might still be able to kill wizards if they run into you.
