This is my first Leonardo, a Momento Zero Golden Abalone (Jonathon Brooks Blanks/Carolina Pens) x Atlas Stationers collab.
The body is, of course, stunning. The nib is no slouch, either; it also writes like a dream ~ a very well-tuned, wet, broad writer. The only drawback for me is that the pen is pretty girthy, considering my preferred and most favorite pen size is the Sailor Pro Gear Slim, which I use to compare girth sizes at the end of the video.
I may have been influenced to try this brand by the Dormouse ‪@TheDormousesDesk‬ and Jane ‪@fountainpensinksmore3290‬ . Just sayin'.
Dominant Industry Inks never fail to put a smile on my face. This ink is no exception; it's splendid! They did a fine job creating a moody, deep, dark green, almost blackish-green, that pays homage to the equally moody Turner painting that inspired this color.
For those of you who are into deep, dark green inks, a similar ink color is BunGuBox Ink Tells More Dandyism.
