Just a couple notes. You probably could've taken the airburst barrage on your first mortar instead of building a second. It's very effective against mgs. Also, it might've been prudent to have built an AA halftrack instead of the dozer. It wouldn't do much against the single strafes but it would've shot down those loiters. Always enjoy the matches!

Hey aj, great comment and feedback man. I honestly think both points are valid. The airburst barrage is extremely effective and there is really no reason not to leverage it. I needed to use it more on the defensive especially, probably could have wiped a couple MGs, while utilizing the mortar smoke on the offensive. I think a transition to WSC into AA halftrack is critical the moment I see him spamming those strafes (and eventual loiters). I sometimes get greedy and skip tech, as I did this game, but I need to slow it down and play for value. Instead of trying to over push, I could have zoned him out with the AA and supported the middle VP more with my army. Great comment tho man, appreciate constructive advice like this, and I’m glad to hear you’re enjoying the content. Cheers 🍻

@@_________________________7050 Thanks man, appreciate that. Yeah, tilt was my initial reaction too haha… but there’s always a positive and a negative. The negative was readily apparent in that I was unable to engage the bunker and was cut off from the fuel. The positive was that he was static and forced to fight at the bunker, so the play was to circumvent it entirely. Avoiding strength and attacking weakness is so key in the early game. Fortunately, we were able to anticipate the MG moving to the front line and quickly force it back, before neutralizing the bunker once e had a critical mass.

A little bit of info, just in case you didn't know this (though I suspect you already did) you can double click the building in the menu and it will get built automatically in a neat space, something that saves you a bit of time and hassle. Love your content sarge!!

He does this for all buildings (see 6:37) except the first building, which you want to manually place as close to the edge of your base as possible toward the battlespace so your forces can reinforce from outside your base.

Hey Ivan! Thanks for the head up bro brother. It’s a very nice feature and something I have been using, as DCTriv mentioned, since Relic added it to the game. It is especially nice when you’re multitasking on the frontline and need to macro.

I wish relic would focus on a armor dlc or add different tanks especially on the US side. They should add the M60 heavy tank

Yeah, a heavy tank for USF would really help them in the late game and especially in large team game modes. I think we will eventually get that.

Hey Terp, loving the input delay fix! I wasn’t expecting Relic to get this done anytime soon but great to see they will be continuing to improve the input speed. I think it’s a huge change. In regards to the new patch, USF is feeling pretty good to me right now, although I still think Axis has an edge in larger team games.

I really like your solo games without the constant noise of comms. Probably not as fun to play but a lot better to watch.

Ah yeah, I hear you Zarco, there’s definitely pros and cons. I usually play with teammates and friends of the channel, as I have always loved the team dynamic of COH. But solos are fun as well, it’s a totally different take and I actually learn quite a bit from them myself.

I do like the brawler style game play. More use of artillery to take out MG’s could have taken place. Great game play!

I just bought the expansion pack and I do not see Ranger option on the advanced battle group. I would appreciate any advice!

Hey Steve, it’s a good question . When you look at the Advanced Infantry Battlegroup, you’ll see the first ability on the left hand side under “Infantry Operations”. The ability costs 1 command point and looks like a Ranger icon. You need to unlock that ability, which is usually possible between the 3-5 minute mark in the game depending on how much combat you’ve experienced, and then you need to use that ability on your already existing rifleman squad. So you left-click on the ability and then left click on your rifleman squad (in your own territory) and then the unit will convert to a Ranger for a cost of 200 manpower. I hope this is helpful, but please let me know if you have any questions and you are always welcome to join our discord for more advice from great players!

I was playing single player skirmish and I do not see the Advance Infantry Battlegroup. Is Ranger option only available in multiplayer?

I was screaming at the screen to grab the anti-tank, but you waited until his tank arrived :(. You should've grabbed his mgs and anti tank and ran.

Yeah, I agree tip, that was a really unfortunate play. I needed to grab the weapons or immediately destroy them. Allowing him to re-crew all of them was brutal.

I usually try to evade plane attack zone, seems that i played incorrectly =P

Yeah, both Rangers and Guastas are incredibly strong right now. Ranger nerfs so far have been only address their late game and Vet power level.
