You can make your own fondant. With marshmallows and powdered sugar. It tastes so much better and it is significantly easier to work with.

Your a mom like me. I made every birthday cake myself, from Cinderella to Harry Potter and lots in between. It's fun to have a theme and get it all ready for them. The kids love it. You make everything looks so easy even with having the children help. Consider yourself the birthday fairy, if you are doing this late at night. It's definitely a peaceful time to get details ready. Using the paddle attachment would help with the icing. The whip puts too much air in too fast. Also, cream the butter for like 3 mins, or until it's light and fluffy before you add the powdered sugar. 😊

Walmart has a great variety of cake supplies! More liquid to loosen your icing and whipping it well before use is a good trick too! I always make most fondant decor ahead of time and use colored frosting as the base! Love your content!
