"Drummer Stephen Morris explained that "Tutti Frutti" was inspired by the band's love of Italo-disco records: "When we started up, we used to listen to a lot of Italian electro records. I really have no idea who they were even by. This guy just used to send us mixtapes, and you'd just play them in the car. That's all we had in the car, this tape of Italian electro," Rolling Stone reports." <<

This sounds like it should be played at a fashion show. Don't know why, it just gives me that vibe.

This song is an absolute masterpiece. Must be played everywhere! Love the disco rhythm, the keyboards, Bernard's perfect voice, especially in the very first verse, and Elly Jackson's excellent guest vocals. We want a fantastic dancefloor video for this! AND we want Tutti Frutti on the live setlist!

New Order have succeeded in pulling me back to a time when I was so much less jaded so much less fearful. I have a renewed sense of purpose. Profound, indeed, to say the least.

And at a single stroke, New Order never left us. Incredible to hear this and think of the influence they had on house music. It's all there!
