I daily carry a P30 SK and it is great like it is. no optic on my CC but that is just me. It has not had one malfunction in over 2k rounds.

Yea I love HK, but reliability goes to my cz. Had almost 5k rounds through it without a single cleaning. Not one malfunction

@@JacobLush-lq1hm if you hunt a Texas hog in the farm. You'll see why. Less humane for the animal. It's a full size in your hand but the power is coming from a super 40S&W. On steroids. It will take down and penetrate through bear fat. The ammo has its benifits. Combining with the HK vp9 style platform its going to be the most economical best feeling in your hands. With the different combination handle straps. It will feel like squeezing play doe molding it into your hand and turning that into your primary.

Take $700 gun. Add one machining step and tap a couple of holes on the slide… $999. Wtf.

One year later and its still not released...

It is true , they are a military supplier , and everything needs to work to military standards . Cost is no object . Civilians pay through the nose just Like governments . Love my HK . They all work ! Some day they will fall to earth .

It will work on both. They share the same optics cut.

For some reason Holosun decided the leave off shake awake for that optic.

It’s $1089 most places now. If you think that’s more than you’re willing to pay for handguns then that’s a different argument. But the sig , glocks, all are that price or higher that come with optics . This optic is better than what most come with too . Just my opinion

All the other companies add about $50-$100 more for an optic version of their guns, but hk charges an extra $300 and you have to buy the plate from the website which I’m sure is around $70 or more. What am I missing here? Is hk trying to price themselves out of the competition?

Don’t bother if you’re trying to direct mount. Unless you have the .40 version, you’re out of luck without an adapter plate.

The “normal” version of the VP9SK, pre-Covid, was UNDER $500 at Cabela’s and Bass Pro!!! Worse case scenario, add $100 for the additional machine work.

Umm wouldn't it have made more sense to offered OR versions of the P30 and USP guns at the same thing???😊

3.39" barrel not 3.75

Wow..I paid $719 brand new for my full size. HK is trippin at that price. My Elite SC $399 and 509C MRD $519 are more in line with what’s reasonable

@@RepentorPerish77 I have an apex trigger in my full 509T and I believe I have an apex striker in my 509c. To be honest I’ve dry fired a ton and used my 509t for uspsa competitions and I have never had any striker issues whatsoever. That Apex trigger is pretty nice though.

It would be nice if HK can up grade the capacity to 12 rds with flushed magazines and actually have an extended one with 15 rds on it. Just an idea.., come on now HK!

not really FN 509 is the same price. and you only get a back straps with the FN. and the trigger is better in the HK then the FN

@@MRsolidcolor You get all the plates, for free, in the box when you buy the FN MRD/Tactical. All of them, they even threw in two 24rd factory mags with mine. Also, all new 509s are coming from the factory with a new flat-faced trigger that’s wayyy better than old ones.

@@chrisf247 With the way FN optics system works it doesn’t matter. The optics mount directly into the slide, the plate is basically just a spacer.

hk hates us. they take to long to make anything then it cost so much and they dont every really come out with new things.. and i carry a vp9 everyday

HK is sluggish because they do a lot of testing before releasing anything, but they're a lot better at following the market than half the companies out there. And UNLIKE sig sauer and smith&wesson who do their testing on impatient customers, HK takes pride in their products as they are 100% bombproof on release.

@@MidnightSvn Absolutely correct. HK guns are reliable as shit. My vp9 has gone through 3000 rounds (half without cleaning or lube) with zero malfunctions.

I guess it’s lost on the HK rep that he carries a P30SK but is showing us a VP9 SK with an optics cut. How about coming out with an optics cut for the P30 pistol. Only goes to prove that H&K product development is clueless!

HK SCS for VP9 seems to be vaporware.
