Olight makes great products. You can never have too many flashlights, or too many knives. 2 things I use every single day.

That OD green is sharp looking.

The Javelot is a very nice torch. Regarding the plastic case, I would have preferred that the light could have been inserted with head facing down, especially when outfitted on a duty or tactical belt.

Olight needs to go back to more sales. I am diamond level but only buy at sales. Lights are getting too expensive.

Not a sale, a release event for this flashlight (which does look pretty cool). But it was touted as a sale which is why people are offended. But this light, for the size, sure looks amazing for the size.

Olight keeps asking me for opinions.. and I've ALWAYS mentioned... Any of their tactical lights with dual IR flood and white light.

You can do tree knocks with that thing? I'm in!!

Just pay KZread per month and you don't get ads. I never see an ad, nothing wastes my time, nothing breaks my train of thought. It's worth the cost of two or three coffees. Besides, good home brew is way tastier than drive thru. You really can't put the blame on the guy making the videos that he wants to get ad revenue when you can pay to remove the ads. That's on us. The content creators take time and spend money on the items they review.

Sootch00 thanks for all the great flash light reviews! You’ve been a huge help Over the years finding great lights! Do you think you could review some cloud defense lights? They are $$$ but they are American 🇺🇸 and might be better than surefire, I bought MCH EDC light with 18650 and so far I’m loving it. I try to use it and surefire as my edc for self defense and bright handheld light, then carry a small micro light for little tasks to keep batteries close to 100% on my big light. Learned that from James Yeager, it is kind of like your carry gun and only use them for emergency situations. Olight makes some good stuff just thought I’d throw out cloud defense since you and other gun channels and prepping channels I watch I’ve never seen them on before. Thanks sorry for such long post, thanks again for all the great reviews!

Question ! I like and all bit i hate the proprietary charging... all else looking like the ultimate apocalypse flashlight but will it work with a 21700 battery with those USB C or mocro USB port you said you don't like ???? Or is it one of those out of spec 21700's ????

Thank you for all your videos. I greatly appreciate them. Do you have a video with advice and recommendations on perimeter security? We live tucked in the woods. We do have cameras on our home but would like to know if someone comes onto our property via the outer perimeter.

I have the Seeker 4 Pro in white and it is a beauty! If white with black details was a standard colour scheme then I would always go for that.

Those awful-looking rings around the hotspot are an instant dealbreaker for me unfortunately 😔

The warrior x has twice the lumens, same battery and size. Why would anyone buy this? The distance is about the same

Warrior x has beam to 2500 lumens and 560 meters, not as good.

My Samsung S24 was made in Korea. Your iPhone was made in China.

Sorry, but if they don’t use CR123 batteries or other common batteries, and uses a proprietary fixed battery, then is a non starter for me. Whether for flashlights or $5,000+ Thor 5 Thermal scopes

For a 100 bucks if you are so out of power you can’t recharge it just toss it aside. I am sure you have many backups. But rechargeable flashlights are now a thing. CR123 can’t put out enough power to push the most powerful LED’s to max output.

​@@graywind4326 True, but I would rather have a flashlight with fewer lumens that uses CR123 batteries and carry spare batteries than have a super bright light flame out on me just when I need it the most. It is still easier to carry the water proof CR123 battery holders ( holds 4 ) than carry a portable solar recharging unit which is inconsistent since you will be needing the flashlight at night when the recharging panels will be useless. And sort of off topic , the big Li FePo4 batteries, all the manufacturers of these solar powered units Renogy, Bluetti, Battleborn, DeltaPro etc always advertise how many charge -discharge cycles the battery is good for, but a more important question to which I can never get a consistent answer is, what is the shelf life of an unused/uncycled LIFePO4 100Ah battery if it is kept suppoosedly at the optimum charge around 50-70% at room tmeoperature etc? By it's nature, the state of charge (SOC) is difficult to measure because the Li batteries deliver near peak performance until the very end and then suddenly fall off the cliff, just like rechargeable NiCad batteries. These high end Victron meters may not alert you when the sudden drop off is about to occur. I use recchargeable Eneloops for my radios and they do the same thing which is a reminder to carry spare batteries.
