Great Video Naveed. I am on my 3rd QQ currently, having last updated in 2023 to a 1.3 mild hybrid Tekna. I had been looking forward to seeing the new facelift but initially I have been a little disappointed, specifically with the new front grill. The new boomerang lighting is a nice feature but personally I think the new grill is too similar to the Tucson, that said, the trim strips on the car shown are very nice. The new rear light clusters are decent and look more premium to the current model. Inside, as with the current model, it's a nice place to be. The new features in the infotainment system are very clever including the new camera features and the ambient lighting... lots of scope to play. And again, this is a personal view, but the swaths of Alcantara leather I think is a mistake. Over quite a short space of time the leather will mark from finger grease and scratch in general with general wear and tear. Alcantara also hold moisture in damp weather and can feel damp t the touch. That said, the quilted and embossed seats ad a touch of class. Incidentally, having recently changed my wife's car to the new Juke Hybrid, we chose the Tekna, specifically as the Tekna+ had the Alcantara leather. My next QQ will be the ePower, I shall definitely be going to my local dealer to give it a detailed look when it arrives in the showroom, not sure I'd go for the N-Design but wouldn't go to anything less than a Tekna.

Thank you for watching! I agree with you about the styling, it does look more aligned with the styling of the Tucson, but I thought the Tucson looks great! I actually welcome this design as opposed to some of the newer designs we're seeing. Regarding the Alcantara, it's not to everyone's taste and I think it can ruin an interior when it is overdone, but I believe this is only the case in the N-Design that I was able to check out in this video. I imagine the Tekna and Connecta models will probably contain a balanced amount of Alcantara. This new Qashqai will be popular and is definitely one worth watching... And if I'm hearing correctly around the pricing then it'll be a hugely competitive car in this segment. Once again, thanks for watching 👍

Thanks for your video. It is so nice. Let me ask you, i can' t see the glass roof (panorama) in any of the pictures inside the car. Is it still available ?

Thank you. I tried to look for the glass roof but I don't think it is available on this model. Maybe it will be available on one of the other specs but not on this N-Design grade it seems.

@@Naveed4Speed Hi we have ordered the ceramic grey version with the light grey interior not 100% sure of the trim detail though,we have just heard from the dealer that we are getting the new version Qashqai at no additional cost as we had already placed our order three weeks ago which is a nice bonus.

The Qashqai will certainly sell well, but I'm surprised about the styling, I thought it looks pretty nice

I prefer the styling of the pre-facelift Kaškaj.

Really? I quite like the new grille and lights.

As others stated, grille reminds me of Hyundai Tucson. Shame didn't put chrome strip down from DRLs to keep Samurai helmet 'V' distinctive design. I do like it though. Inside I also agree with others that Alcantara a mistake. Like a plain carpet, shows up all contact brush/scuff marks, - nightmare. Don't think driving dynamics will change as facelift only AFAIK. All electric Nissan's next year will be interesting if they achieve decent KW/hour.

Yes I agree it looks like the Tucson. They have put some of the chrome features on the edges of the grille to keep that V design but it's a bit too subtle maybe. The interior with all the alcantara is pretty much for the N Design as far as I'm aware but the rest of the interior is nice. I'd love to see the Tekna+. Let's see what the future brings but I definitely think this Qashqai will be popular.
