So UK Does sell the regular New 3DS but in the US its only the New 3DS XL

Please answer these questions, Nintendo (I'm from the United States): 1. Why does the UK get the New Nintendo 3DS, and we don't? 2. Why does the UK have a trailer similar to the Japanese one, and we don't? 3. Why does the UK have Metallic Blue, and we have New Red? Now that I have no problem with. I know that the UK gets some stuff late, but that doesn't seem much fair. And yes I know, people who are going to say this to me, that I can just get one offline.

I might be from the UK, but I actually feel sorry for people in the US. They don't seem happy about the news that the _New 3DS_ isn't releasing in their country (they're getting the _New 3DS XL_ instead). Maybe it'll be announced later. Those faceplates must mean a lot to them…

Samuel Sargunam Agreed. A New _Nintendo 2DS_? That's the craziest thing I've ever heard! XD The _New 3DS_ - and its larger varient - were Japan-only for a while, and the _2DS_ was never released there. Maybe it'll be the same everywhere else (including my country - the UK)?

You won't be able to do that, unfortunately. The 3DS is region locked and only plays games specific to that region. Seeing as Fates isn't released in Europe yet and has a very vague "2016" EU release date, you're going to be waiting for a while before you get to play FE: Fates. That, or you get an American 3DS, but they don't sell stand alone N3DS', so you'll have to get an Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer N3DS bundle.

Very excited for this console upgrade, I'll be waiting on a Legend of Zelda-themed limited edition XL before buying one though ;)

HappyMagikarp It depends what country you live in because the systems are region-locked. If you live in a NTSC country like the U.S. you can import games/systems from other NTSC countries.And if you live in a PAL country like the U.K. then you can import from other PAL countries.

Because the XL is going to be available in many, many Limited Special Editions no one would buy, if they could use cover plates instead. ;)

You do realise the _C-stick_ is like one of those pointing devices on old IBM ThinkPad computers, right? It looks stiff and pathetic, but is more responsive than it looks. I can easily see your opinion, though.

I know. I got my new ambassador 3ds. And it is a good c stick. but for the first while, I kept confusing it with the x button!

Wow...didn't add much, no one cares about games loading faster and colour. Buttons moves, no one likes 3d. (This is my opinion, not everyone hates 3D)

I had a regular blue 3DS too, but the L and R buttons stopped working so I traded it in for a Smash Bros 3DS XL.

"Nintendo is becoming like Apple" a wise person said,why? Simply Nintendo is forcing people to buy the same product again and again with "some new featuers" just to be able to play the lattest games,it's disgusting how they turned like that after shutting down the MH3 Tri servers in Wii and making people who dont have the money to buy a new Wii U unable to connect on the wifi connection.I used to be one of the biggest Nintendo's fanboy outhere but when this "fashion" began i really stopped supporting this company and realised how fake they are agaist their customers,for example they could have been build all these "new" features from the very first 3DS than just forcing people to buy the new 3ds just to play(lets say mh4u in my place).Nintendo gotta realise that making money isnt a game(like it's in their imagination),some people can't really afford to buy a new ver. of 3ds every second just to make sure the game will run perfectly.Take an example from Sony Nintendo guys,they release a console every 2/3 years and they make sure everything is gonna run ok,the user will have every comfort and the customer will be happy with his purchase.

This is a ripoff
